The Elbaf Arc in One Piece has begun with a fierce battle against the Holy Knights. The Straw Hat Pirates just arrived on the island, but are immediately facing incredibly strong enemies. While the attack on Egghead, with Admiral Kizaru, the Gorosei, and a hundred Marine ships, was devastating, Elbaf seems even more challenging, as Gunko, Sommers, and Killingham are all attacking at once. The Holy Knights are especially ruthless, targeting children, which makes the situation even worse. There’s a glimmer of hope, though, with Loki now free and Luffy’s trust in him, suggesting the battle won’t be a complete victory for the Knights. This chaos is especially hard on Nico Robin, who has just been reunited with Jaguar D. Saul after 22 years. After already experiencing intense trauma during the Egghead Incident, this reunion has been cut short, and Saul is now focused on protecting everyone around him.
Following the devastating events at Ohara, Saul narrowly escaped with his life. He went back to Elbaf and dedicated himself to preserving the research from Ohara. He also aimed to help Elbaf become a more progressive nation by prioritizing education for its youth, and he began teaching history at a new school. While the Giants were hosting the Straw Hats, they were unexpectedly attacked by the Holy Knights, who targeted the children.
