Tekken Can Now Cross Over With Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Street Fighter, and Even Invincible

I’ve been a huge Tekken fan for years, and what I love about it is how many different characters there are and just how solid the fighting feels. Tekken 8 kept that going, and now it’s getting even cooler! They’re letting characters from other awesome games and series – like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Street Fighter, Critical Role, and even Invincible – jump in and fight. It’s a dream come true for someone like me who loves crossovers!

The popular video game Tekken 8 is expanding into the UniVersus Card Game! UVS Games announced a new Tekken 8 Booster Set will be available on August 14, 2026. This set includes 14 character cards and introduces a new gameplay mechanic. What’s exciting is that UniVersus allows you to combine cards from different franchises, so you can build decks with characters from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Street Fighter, Godzilla, and more. The Invincible set, launching in 2027, will add even more options. Find all the details about the Tekken 8 Booster Set below.

UniVersus Allows Multiple Franchises To Collide In One Game

I’m so excited! UVS Games just announced they’re teaming up with Bandai Namco to bring Tekken 8 content to UniVersus, and they’re doing it with a new Booster Set! But the coolest part? We can actually get our hands on special promo cards next month! They’ll be available at the Evolution Championship Series in Las Vegas from June 26th to 28th. I’m definitely trying to snag those exclusive, EVO-stamped cards!

The Tekken 8 Booster Set will have 144 Character Cards showcasing popular fighters from Tekken 8, along with 185 standard Base Cards, 25 special Alt-Art Ultra Rares, and some exciting Secret Rares. It will also bring back the popular Serialized Chrome Rares and introduce two new types of Chrome card finishes.

UniVersus is adding a new “Heat” system to create exciting shifts in gameplay momentum, which is common in fighting games. They’re also introducing a new type of card called “Arena Cards,” though details are still limited.

You can now pre-order the Tekken 8 Booster Set. It will first be available at special preview events starting August 7, 2026, and then released to the general public on August 14, 2026.
