You can now watch all episodes of the new BBC drama, Two Weeks in August, on BBC iPlayer. Created by Catherine Shepherd, the series follows a group of university friends on what turns into a disastrous holiday in Greece.
I’m really enjoying this series on BBC One, and now that all the episodes are out, I’m already hoping they make more! I’d love to see this group travel to even more destinations – fingers crossed we get future seasons to explore more holidays with them.
We don’t have a definitive answer yet, but two actors from the show have said they’d be open to returning if it were to get a second season.
Hugh Skinner, who plays Jacob, told TopMob he’d be happy to return for future episodes if the opportunity arose.
Leila Farzad, who plays Nat, also commented on the possibility of a reunion. She joked that it’s a question for Catherine, the show’s creator, but added that the cast all enjoyed working together and would be keen to revisit the characters. However, she believes any future stories would need to take them in a completely new direction.

Skinner suggested the characters needed fresh challenges, and Farzad agreed. While things are currently resolved, they’d need to introduce new issues to keep the story going, and everyone involved would be happy to collaborate again.
Joining Skinner and Farzad in the cast of Two Weeks in August are Jessica Raine, Damien Molony, Antonia Thomas, and Nicholas Pinnock.
The show’s dynamic shifts when a secret kiss creates chaos, leading Zoe to pursue what she truly wants.
