Get ready for a thrilling new game of secrets and lies with the launch of ITV’s “Nobody’s Fool.”
Hosted by Danny Dyer and Emily Atack, this show features 10 players who rely on each other to stay in the game. Their survival depends on how intelligent the other contestants believe them to be.
Throughout the show, players secretly compete in quizzes where initial impressions and biases heavily influence their perceptions. This creates a guessing game for both the contestants and the audience, filled with quick judgments and deliberate deception.
After the quizzes, the players must determine who is the weakest amongst them and eliminate them.
With each player trying to show they deserve to stay, can the others figure out who is truly helpful and who is just pretending to be?

John thinks intelligence is subjective – what one person considers smart, another might not. When competing, he wants to be genuine and hopes people will recognize him as an honest and authentic person.
Melissa

Job: A secret she’s keeping from her fellow contestants
Location: Broadstairs
Melissa is exceptionally intelligent. She received top marks in all of her A-level exams, was accepted to Oxford or Cambridge University, and joined Mensa at the age of 12, achieving a higher score than Albert Einstein.
Okay, so this performer is clearly aiming for a lighthearted, engaging vibe – think quick wit and a lot of charm. But she’s also smart about it, holding back on revealing everything about herself. It’s a calculated approach, and honestly, it makes me even more curious to see what she’ll reveal – and when.

Age: 31
Job: Entrepreneur
Location: Benfleet
Omar compares himself to successful figures like Jordan Belfort and Mark Zuckerberg, but believes he connects with people more like Oprah Winfrey. He intends to understand what motivates individuals – their strengths and weaknesses – and use that knowledge to his advantage.
Billy
Age: 55
Job: Clairvoyant
Location: Harrogate
Billy is intentionally keeping his legal and scientific background a secret, hoping his opponents will underestimate him.
Ella
Age: 21
Job: Waitress
Location: Leeds
Ella’s experience with musical theatre gives her the ability to convincingly portray a wide range of emotions and characters – she can even cry whenever needed.
She believes that general knowledge is not her strength… but talking her way out of anything is.
Harry
Age: 33
Job: Journalist
Location: Carmarthenshire
Look, I’ve got a theory about Harry’s strategy. He’s decided to play this game completely honestly, and honestly, I think he believes being a genuinely good guy will be enough to win everyone over. He’s betting on straight-up sincerity, and it’s a bold move, but I’m curious to see if it’ll actually work.
With an Oxbridge background, Harry intends to use this to add credibility to his intelligence.
Kamaal
Age: 25
Job: Financial analyst
Location: London
You know, it’s funny – I often hear people underestimate me at first glance. They seem surprised when I mention what I do for work, or that I actually have a degree. It’s like they expect something different based on how I look, and it always catches them off guard.
In the game, he plans to reveal more when he thinks the time is right.

Age: 32
Job: Legal project manager
Location: 32
Sonja intends to carefully assess the situation and adapt her strategy accordingly. She’s confident that her intelligence, strong communication skills, and straightforward manner will help her succeed.
Jackie
Age: 68
Job: Retired HR manager
Location: Morecambe
Jackie is a skilled quizzer and wants to prove people wrong about what they think of her. But will she be able to beat the younger, and potentially more knowledgeable, competitors?
Parissa
Age: 32
Job: Influencer
Location: Crawley
Parissa has a master’s degree in psychology and intends to use her knowledge to understand behavior, detect deception, and ultimately gain an edge in various situations.
Nobody’s Fool airs Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
