Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Enjoy PDA-Filled Courtside Date Night

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made the whole place shimmer once again.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were spotted at the Cleveland Cavaliers game on May 23rd, watching them play the New York Knicks at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Ohio.

During the Knicks’ 121-108 win against the Cavaliers, cameras captured a touching moment between Taylor and her fiancé: she gently touched his arm and leaned in to kiss him.

Taylor and her companion made a stylish entrance to game three of the NBA Eastern Conference finals. Taylor wore jeans with a black tank top that had a bit of sparkle, along with matching heels. She added a black jacket to stay warm inside the arena.

Travis showed off his Ohio pride with a casual outfit: faded denim jeans and a short-sleeved button-down shirt. He layered a burgundy Cavaliers T-shirt and hat underneath, completing the look with sneakers that had striking red laces.

This wasn’t the first time the couple had turned heads while out together. The singer, known for the song “Long Live,” had recently been seen on several fashionable dates in New York City.

Honestly, the sweetest thing I’ve seen from them recently was at Travis’ teammate George Karlaftis’ wedding to Kaia Harris in Greece on May 9th. It just felt so special and romantic!

After the wedding, George told People magazine how happy he was with their guests. “We’re so lucky to have such great friends, and everyone we invited was amazing,” he said. “Everyone really clicked, made new connections, and had a fantastic time dancing. Honestly, I couldn’t have dreamed of a better wedding day and night.”

Taylor and Travis, who announced their engagement last August, haven’t revealed many details about their wedding. However, Taylor says the day will feel like a fairytale as long as she’s with Travis.

She admitted she wasn’t one of those people who dreamed about their wedding day forever. In fact, she said on U.K.’s Heart Breakfast last October, she hadn’t given any thought to what she wanted from a wedding until she met the person she wanted to marry.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce first connected in July 2023 when Swift’s Eras Tour visited Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Being a big fan of Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end wanted to give her a friendship bracelet with his jersey number on it while at her concert. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to deliver it because she was busy getting ready for the show.

Travis explained on his podcast, New Heights, that he was a little upset Taylor Swift didn’t chat with fans before or after her concerts. He understood she needed to protect her voice for the 44 songs she performs, but he was hoping to give her one of the friendship bracelets he’d made.

After jokingly talking about dropping the football – something he’d later call incredibly cool – Travis decided to take a chance and invited the famous singer to come see the Chiefs play at their home stadium, Arrowhead.

He explained on The Pat McAfee Show that he challenged Taylor Swift, saying he’d noticed her energetic performances at Arrowhead Stadium and suggested she come see him perform there too, to see who gets a better reaction from the crowd. He added that fans might find out what happens soon.

Okay, so when I first saw pictures of Travis meeting Taylor, he had the mustache. Seriously, it was new – he’d grown it during training camp back in August! I immediately noticed, of course, because everything about that moment was perfect, and the mustache was just… there. It was a whole vibe, honestly. I’ve been tracking it ever since!

He later recalled that his mustache and number 87 jersey were a defining look during that time, and he was sporting them when he first met Taylor.

Okay, so I’ve been following everything so closely, and a friend of a friend who’s connected told me that by the beginning of September, Travis and Taylor were already… chatting! Like, actually texting and talking on the phone! I nearly lost it when I heard. It wasn’t a full-blown thing yet, apparently, just little bits of communication here and there, but still! It was something and I knew it!

“It’s been very low-key,” the insider explained, “as he’s been in season.”

Taylor accepted Travis’ invitation and went to Arrowhead Stadium to see him and the Kansas City Chiefs play the Chicago Bears, where she sat with his mom, Donna Kelce. After the game, Taylor and Travis were photographed showing affection for each other at a nearby bar.

Despite rumors that they met for the first time in person, the singer of “Karma” explained that they had actually already spent a good deal of time getting to know each other.

As Taylor noted, “We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.” 

To show how serious things were getting, Taylor brought a group of her friends – including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner, Hugh Jackman, Sabrina Carpenter, and Antoni Porowski – to see the Chiefs play the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Taylor Swift seems to be getting close to Brittany Mahomes, wife of Travis Kelce’s best friend and teammate, Patrick Mahomes, both at and away from NFL games. This could be another indication that Taylor and Travis are a couple.

The couple publicly showcased their relationship with a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live on October 14th. They continued the fun with the show’s after-party and a romantic dinner at the Waverly Inn.

During the NFL’s bye week, Travis flew to Argentina to see Taylor Swift perform as part of her Eras Tour. At the November 11th concert in Buenos Aires, he connected with Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, and Taylor even gave him a special mention from the stage.

“Karma is that guy on the Chiefs,” Taylor sang, “coming straight home to me.”

Following the performance, Taylor Swift reportedly rushed backstage and enthusiastically kissed Travis Kelce.

Taylor addressed the lavender craze surrounding her appearances at Travis’ games.

She told Time that she’s excited to support him doing what he’s passionate about, and they’re both there for each other, not worrying about who else is around. It’s the opposite of having to hide their relationship and go to great lengths to keep it secret.

 

The famous singer made Travis’ game on December 17th a family event, bringing her father along to support her boyfriend.

Taylor and Travis rang in the New Year together, and shared a kiss at midnight on January 1st.

Taylor continued getting to know Travis’ family, spending time with his brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce at the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills.

Okay, let me tell you, the energy was electric when Travis and Taylor celebrated the Chiefs’ AFC Championship win! It was such a sweet moment – they really sealed the deal with a kiss and, get this, they actually said ‘I love you’ to each other right there on the field! It’s official – they’re heading to the Super Bowl as a couple, and honestly, it’s the cutest thing ever.
