Kyle Busch‘s legacy lives on.

Several drivers honored the late NASCAR driver, who passed away at 41, at the Indianapolis 500 on May 24th.

Romain Grosjean paid tribute to the late racer Kyle Busch by driving car number 18 – a number Busch is well-known for. He even used the same font for the number that Busch used during his time with Joe Gibbs Racing in NASCAR.

The Chip Ganassi Racing team displayed special pit signs to honor Busch, and on lap 18 – a tribute to his racing number – Indianapolis Motor Speedway recognized him on the scoring pylon while the crowd paused for a moment of silence.

NASCAR drivers Jimmie Johnson, Danica Patrick, and Tony Stewart were also among those who honored Busch.

The honors kept coming for Busch. Charlotte Motor Speedway showed a photo of him on the jumbotron on May 22nd, while he was preparing to race in the Coca-Cola 600 on May 24th.

Before the event began, a tribute to Busch was shown on the stadium’s large video screens.

Marcus Smith, CEO of Speedway Motorsports, which runs the racetrack, spoke about the extraordinary driver and what he’ll be remembered for.

Kyle shared on Instagram about enjoying a fun playdate at the @bundleofjoyfund and finding amazing pumpkins with @samanthabusch and @brextonbusch. He called them “the most perfect pumpkins in the patch!”

Kyle and Samantha Busch took a trip to Las Vegas, which Kyle celebrated with an Instagram post declaring he’d ‘hit the jackpot’ with her.
