Bungie is ending official updates for Destiny 2 today, but to celebrate its history, they’re releasing a large collection of the game and its expansions as part of the PS Plus Extra subscription.
According to the PlayStation Blog, the Destiny 2: Legacy Collection from 2025 is being added to the PlayStation Plus membership service today. It’s not available on PS Plus Extra quite yet, but I’ll update this article as soon as it is.
This collection includes the following alongside the base game:
- The Final Shape
- Lightfall
- The Witch Queen
- Beyond Light
- Shadowkeep
- Forsaken
- 30th Anniversary Pack
- Pit of Heresy Dungeon
- Shattered Throne Dungeon
- Grasp of Avarice Dungeon
So, as a big fan, I’ve been looking into the Legacy Collection for next year, and it looks like the only things it doesn’t include are “The Edge of Fate” and “Renegades.” “Renegades” is the one with all the Star Wars stuff, by the way. The good news is both are on sale right now, so you can grab them pretty cheaply if you’re interested!
This game is an extra benefit for PlayStation Plus Extra members, released separately from the regular monthly game updates. Sony is expected to announce the full list of PS Plus Extra games for July 2026 tomorrow.
