Fans expected a traditional expansion for Dragon’s Dogma 2, but Capcom is instead releasing an enhanced edition called Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen. Launching on October 9th, this version of the 2024 action RPG features a brand new area to discover.
Norgan is a snowy area where you can discover Spoils – items you can evaluate to get powerful new weapons, armor, and abilities. You’ll need these upgrades to face the challenges ahead, including formidable new dragon bosses. While specific details weren’t shared, the original Dark Arisen expansion greatly enhanced the first game, so there’s likely much more to discover in this new content.
Capcom worked for months to fix the main issues, but players still pointed out other problems with the story and missing features from the original game. Hopefully, the new Dark Arisen expansion will fix these remaining issues and provide a truly great story of its own.
