Cole Sprouse is ready to live the suite life as an uncle.
After his twin brother Dylan Sprouse announced he was expecting his first baby with wife Barbara Palvin, the Riverdale star shared insight into the type of uncle he’s hoping to be.
Cole recently shared with CBS Mornings that he loves giving gifts to his godchildren, often choosing things like swords and drum sets. He jokingly added that he plans to be a playfully bothersome brother.
Barbara and Dylan shared the exciting news that they’re expecting their first child on Instagram on May 14th. The post featured a sweet photo of the couple taken at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival in France, where Barbara was seen lovingly cradling her baby bump while looking at Dylan.
The couple posted a sonogram showing their baby appearing to give a ‘rock on’ sign, and later recreated the pose in another photo.
The pair’s latest milestone comes nearly three years after they tied the knot—and six years after their meet cute. Dylan, 33, and Barbara, 32, first met on a red carpet in 2017 before the Disney Channel alum slid into her DMs. After a brief ghosting by the Victoria’s Secret angel, they pair reconnected—and Dylan has shared how their romance has forever changed him.

It’s embarrassing to admit, but she just makes me want to be a better version of myself, and that definitely includes what I wear. She’s just…inspiring!
I’ve always known Barbara accepts Dylan exactly as he is, and it’s so sweet! He shared that early in their relationship, she playfully told him he really needed to start wearing cologne and maybe ditch some of his, shall we say, unique habits. It was all in good fun, of course, but it showed she wasn’t afraid to be honest with him right from the start.
And that’s not the only way Barbara has left her mark on Dylan.
He explained that before marriage, the main focus is simply getting married. But once you’re married, you start thinking about what you want your life together to look like. For some couples, that means having children, while others prioritize buying a home.
Initially, the couple didn’t know what they wanted.
He explained that the day after their wedding, they woke up and realized they didn’t have a plan for what to do next.
After that, the couple playfully made a plan – a plan that ultimately led to them becoming parents.
For her part, Barbara knows any chapter is one worth stepping into with Dylan by her side.
In a recent interview with L’Beauté, she shared that he’s brought peace and laughter into her life. She also noted they both understand each other’s careers, but prioritize keeping their home life relaxed and grounded.
She described their relationship as a perfect balance, saying the best thing is having someone who both supports and keeps her realistic. They complement each other well.
