Classic Action RPG Tales of Eternia Is the Series’ Next Remaster, Enhanced on PS5

Bandai Namco’s dipping way back into the past for its next Tales remaster.

As rumored a few weeks ago, Tales of Eternia is being re-released. This will be the first Tales game that isn’t fully 3D to get a revival.

And guess what? It’s another game for October, launching for PS5 and PS4 on 16th.

Eternia originally came out for the PlayStation 1 in 2000, and was later released on the PSP in 2005. It hasn’t been officially available on any other systems since.

Tales of Eternia Remastered is getting some updates to make the classic game easier and more enjoyable for modern players.

The game will feature waypoints to guide you, the option to trigger or avoid enemy battles, and a faster combat speed – though it already moves quickly!

You’ll also be able to flip between the original graphics and the remaster’s enhanced visuals. Apparently, some sound effects have been redone as well, and switching graphical modes will change those, too.
