Gracie Abrams Details “Stable” Paul Mescal Romance

Gracie Abrams was worried she’d hit a wall when she fell in love with Paul Mescal.

While her romance with the Normal People actor is still going strong two years after they first stepped out together, the “Close to You” singer admitted it initially sparked some internal anxiety about how their relationship might affect her music career. 

Abrams recently told Vogue that she was concerned feeling too comfortable and settled would stifle her creativity and passion for writing music. She admitted it really scared her.

I’ve been following Phoebe Bridgers for a while now, and it’s amazing to see how much her music has grown! I’m so excited for her new album, Daughter from Hell, coming out next month. It’s also really sweet seeing her relationship with Paul Mescal blossom. She even shared how much she enjoyed living with him while he filmed Hamnet – she said it was incredibly inspiring to watch him work!

She described talking to him as being like discovering an amazing book every day. That’s how captivating and inspiring their conversations were, especially when he was creating something special.

I was so thrilled to hear that the singer behind “That’s So True” was especially appreciative of working with director Chloé Zhao and the incredibly talented Jessie Buckley – who, as you may know, won an Oscar for her role as Agnes. They apparently created such a magical and inspiring atmosphere on set, and it’s wonderful to see artists recognizing and celebrating that kind of positive energy.

“The person you love gets to be surrounded by witches,” Abrams explained. “It’s magical.”

But the pair’s relationship works both ways: Not only did the Aftersun star buy Abrams a 1960s reel-to-reel recorder and helped her use it, but he’s also started to jam with her as he prepares to play Paul McCartney in the upcoming Beatles biopics. 

Abrams admitted her boyfriend is a much more skilled guitar player than she is.

The couple aren’t on an island, either. Abrams revealed her younger brother August Abrams was living at their shared London apartment during his semester abroad, and Mescal is hoping her dachshund Weenie—who has been stuck in LA due to animal travel restrictions—will join them soon. As she joked, “Paul is desperate to get him out to London.”

While the origins of their romance initially sparked in spring 2026, the Frankenstein actor and the Kardashians star took their relationship to the next level in May 2026. 

Besides going on a double date with Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet, the couple enjoyed several romantic trips together in early summer 2026, with destinations including Hawaii and Japan.

During the summer of 2025, people were curious about the relationship between Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise. Initially, de Armas only discussed working with Cruise when rumors of a possible romance began in February. However, sightings of them together, including a romantic walk in Vermont in July, suggested they were a couple. TopMob News contacted their representatives for confirmation but didn’t receive a response.

As the seasons changed, reports emerged that the couple had broken up in October 2025.

Many fans remember Jessica Alba as Sue Storm, but they may not recall the rumors about her and Danny Ramirez that surfaced in the summer of 2025. Six months after separating from her husband, Cash Warren, Alba was seen spending time with the Top Gun: Maverick actor. TMZ even shared a video of them boarding a flight together from Cancun to Los Angeles in July 2025.

This was no summertime fling, though. The duo continued to go strong well into the following year, stepping out for a Miami getaway in May 2026. 

Rumors began circulating in July 2025 that Jennifer Aniston was dating hypnotist Jim Curtis after they were seen on vacation together in Mallorca. While neither has confirmed a romantic relationship, Aniston revealed in April to Travel + Leisure that she had been trying hypnosis to overcome her fear of flying and eliminate superstitions. She mentioned that letting go of superstitions was a part of the process.

Their relationship started to blossom in the summer, but Jennifer confirmed they were serious when she publicly revealed they were together on Instagram in November 2025.

Megan Thee Stallion and basketball star Klay Thompson had a notable summer romance. They confirmed their relationship on Instagram in July 2025 and soon after made their first public appearance as a couple at Megan’s charity gala in New York.

Although Megan and her partner seemed happy together for several months, their relationship began to fall apart the following spring.

In April 2026, Megan announced she had ended her relationship with Klay. She explained that trust, loyalty, and respect are essential to her in any relationship, and without them, it’s impossible to continue.

Reese Witherspoon and Oliver Haarmann seemed to be enjoying a romantic trip together. Rumors began circulating last fall about the Legally Blonde star and the financier potentially dating, but those rumors were confirmed when People magazine published photos of them kissing on a yacht in Saint-Tropez, France in July 2025.

Anna Kendrick and Alex Edelman fueled dating speculation after they were spotted hanging out together on multiple occasions in summer 2025. For instance, the Pitch Perfect star and the comedian were photographed driving together in Studio City, Calif., and shopping at an outdoor market in L.A. that July. 

 

Elliot Page and Julia Shiplett publicly confirmed their relationship in June 2025, just in time for Pride Month! The Umbrella Academy actor shared a selfie with Shiplett, who stars in Overcompensating, along with rainbow and heart emojis to announce their romance.

At first, JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes seemed to be dancing around their connection—but no one could deny the serendipity of their romance. 

After growing close on Celebrity Big Brother andinsisting for weeks that they were just friends, the Dance Moms alum and the Love Island star finally confirmed their relationship had evolved to something more.

“It’s not platonic any more,” JoJo admitted to The Guardian in an interview shared June 2, “and it’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him and he’s the same way.”

In fact, Chris says they’ve already thought about next steps.

“I’d love to marry her,” he told The Sun‘s Fabulous. “I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you I run through scenarios of our wedding day. By the following summer, the couple celebrated one year together.

Connor Newsum and Carmen Kocourek  dropped the bombshell that they were dating in July 2025.
