Polyphony Digital typically builds anticipation for new Gran Turismo 7 updates by first showing shadowy previews. However, they surprised everyone this time during the first round of the Gran Turismo World Series 2026 in Milan by releasing the trailer immediately. It revealed all the vehicles coming in the free update on June 11th, including – surprisingly – four Le Mans Hypercars.
The race features exciting Hypercars like the Peugeot 9X8, Ferrari 499P, Porsche 963, and BMW M Hybrid V8. Adding to the realism, a Porsche 911 GT3 S/C acts as the safety car, appearing on track if there’s an incident. While crashes are rare in the game, you can still activate the safety car’s sirens for extra fun.
Keep an eye out for the next update to Gran Turismo 7, which will likely feature new Scapes, Events, and other exciting content. The game, released for PS4 and PS5 in March 2022, continues to receive strong post-launch support – so much so that our recent assessment of whether to revisit the game is already becoming dated! A major addition is the Power Pack, offering 50 new races across 20 different categories for $30. You can find more information here.
