As a huge movie fan, I’ve always been fascinated by the Green Lantern ring. It’s often called the most powerful weapon in existence – basically, it lets you create anything you can think of! And that’s why humans are such natural Green Lanterns, honestly. We’re bursting with imagination. Over the years, some humans have really mastered the ring and become legends within the Corps – the absolute best of the best.

8) Simon Baz

Simon Baz joined the Green Lanterns with the launch of the New 52, teaming up with both Hal Jordan and Sinestro to fight against the plans of the Guardians of the Universe. He later partnered with Jessica Cruz, and together they served as Earth’s Green Lanterns, protecting their sector and assisting the Justice League. While Simon was a determined and capable Lantern, he wasn’t considered one of the most powerful; his willpower and constructs were solid, but he never quite reached his full potential.

The guy actually managed to control a Red Lantern ring, which is saying something, considering all that rage! He’s a top-ranked Lantern, plain and simple, and one of the most powerful beings in the Corps. His confidence might be over the top, but it fuels a ridiculous amount of willpower. Seriously, few can match his power level.

4) John Stewart

John Stewart is a powerful protector of Earth, wielding the incredible power of a Green Lantern ring. He stepped into the role years after Hal Jordan and quickly established himself as one of the most talented Lanterns. A past mistake at Xanshi humbled him, and he’s now a highly respected member of the Green Lantern Corps. Stewart’s background in architecture gives his energy constructs unique strength, and his Marine training provides the discipline and skill to make him a formidable opponent against any threat.

3) Hal Jordan

Hal Jordan is a legendary figure, widely considered the best Green Lantern of all time. His incredible willpower and fearlessness make him a naturally gifted ring wielder. He’s been wielding that power since before World War II, making him the most seasoned Lantern around, and it’s fundamentally changed him. He hasn’t just learned to use the ring, he’s become one with the Starheart, a being of pure energy. It’s amazing to see how he can shape that power into absolutely anything – he truly is the most powerful ring-bearer on Earth, and maybe even in the entire universe!
