Did anyone predict this during the Nintendo Direct? Kingdom Hearts 4 is officially happening, but we don’t know when it will be released yet.
Square Enix recently released new gameplay footage of their upcoming game, featuring the main character, Sora, exploring a Tokyo-inspired city that they’ve been hinting at for years.
This definitely appears to be gameplay from the Kingdom Hearts series, combining its signature action and RPG elements. We see a quick look at some summons, but there isn’t a lot of substantial content shown.
To be generous, this seems like a very early version, and since there’s no announced release date, it’s likely still a long way from being finished.
The Nintendo Direct presentation showed on-screen controls and instructions, but those elements have been taken out of this official version uploaded to the game’s YouTube channel.
