I’m really excited about Neon Giant’s new game, No Law! They just dropped a new trailer, and it’s giving me a great look at the world – this place called Port Desire – and what the game is all about. It looks like a cool open-world shooter RPG.
Considering what we know, Port Desire is essentially a ticking time bomb. Its delicate peace and important location make it a central hub for the game’s conflicts, and it’s filled with details – both significant and trivial – that can lead to all sorts of stories. Even something simple, like a lost dog poster, could be a lead if you choose to follow it.
Beyond the compelling stories, we were introduced to the Peacekeepers, who attempt to keep the peace in Port Desire, even though the laws are often bent or ignored. The result is a thrilling adventure that feels similar to Cyberpunk 2077, complete with vibrant neon lights. The developers anticipated this comparison and intentionally created the game with that vibe in mind, which is perfectly fine with us.
The game No Law is expected to be released on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S later this year, but a specific date hasn’t been announced.
