As an avid gamer with countless hours spent navigating the fantastical realms of Throne & Liberty, I can confidently say that the “Little Friend in the Sky” quest is one for the books! The sheer scale and spectacle of boarding the Gigantrite, a winged whale-like beast, never ceases to amaze me.
“Little Friend in the Sky” is one of the many quests in Throne & Liberty that directly ties into a world event, as it requires you to board the Gigantrite.
In simpler terms, the Gigantrite is a colossal flying creature that traverses the world of Solisium every few hours. It can be compared to a giant, winged whale. Notably, the beast has valuable materials on its back. Crucially, this flying mammoth also transports an essential object for our quest – a doll named Yeddy.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to board the massive Gigantrite so that you can meet Yeddy!
Little Friend In The Sky | Board Gigantrite Event Guide
Just like how “Return of the Age of Wolves” quest is linked to its in-game event, “Little Friend in the Sky” is similarly connected to the “Gigantrite” board event within Throne & Liberty. Therefore, you’ll need to patiently wait for the event to become active in the game. To find out when it starts, simply click the button displayed above on your PC screen to open the Schedule, or press L2 + Triangle (for PlayStation) or LT + Y (for Xbox) if you’re using a console.
The Gigantrite occurrence takes place approximately every few hours each day, and the Schedule will keep you informed about its upcoming commencement.
You might want to explore a comprehensive timetable instead. Simply find the Gigantrite event marker, resembling a whale-like symbol, on the map display.
As the occasion commences, the Gigantrite will materialize and soar across Solisium. You can monitor its trajectory on your map too. Its flight path varies depending on where it emerges. Be quick to locate a possible boarding spot once you receive the notification that the event has begun.
Boarding the Gigantrite and Finding Yeddy
Below you’ll find a detailed itinerary, arranged sequentially according to the Gigantrite’s journey path, of all its boarding stations within each region:
- Fonos Basin – The easiest route to follow, with the most boarding points. The Gigantrite will first pass by the Purelight Tower, then the Starlight Observatory, and finally the Veder Lookout.
- Kastleton – The “in-between” route, it only has two boarding points. Starlight Observatory first, and then the Stonegard Castle Walls.
- Stonegard – The hardest route to board the Gigantrite, as the Gigantrite flies out of reach for most of the route. However, you can land on it at the end of its route from the Stonegard Castle Walls.
“Await the arrival of the Gigantrite at any of its stops along its journey. Once it nears your location, transform into the Bald Eagle Morph and soar onto its back.
With the Gigantrite as your ride now, search for a small doll named “Yeddy”. If you’re facing the Gigantrite’s tail, Yeddy will be on your left side near the wings. Simply click on it once to finish the “Little Friend in the Sky” mission!
Besides the “Little Friend in the Sky” mission, there are additional rewards waiting for you when you climb aboard the Gigantrite in Throne & Liberty. Don’t forget to gather all the materials on its back before dismounting, as they could be quite useful! Regardless, your task is now complete.
