In light of this, I hope the new Superman film includes one significant scene from the comics that the original Superman movies portrayed so effectively.

At a certain juncture, it would be thrilling if David Corenswet’s character, Clark Kent, becomes aware of peril, prompting him to act. Ideally, this would lead him to abandon his desk and unveil his superhero suit hidden beneath his regular work attire. This significant event for the Steel Man could create quite a buzz, especially if it culminates in the iconic exclamation from bystanders, “Look! It’s a bird. It’s a plane. Yet, amidst the quiet, there’s a voice echoing Kal-El’s name. It seems to be none other than Jor-El, Superman’s father from Krypton – possibly an AI version this time around. I can hardly wait to find out who will bring this iconic character to life on screen and witness the profound advice he imparts to his son, as these moments have always been some of the most memorable in previous Superman films, whether it was Marlon Brando or Russell Crowe lending their talents.

8. The DCU’s Superman and Lex Luthor Face-To-Face

An Epic Rivalry Renewed For The Big Screen

In comic books, not many rivalries compare to Lex Luthor’s long-standing feud with Superman. This has generally held true on screen too, and it’s thrilling to anticipate Nicholas Hoult bringing a more accurate portrayal of this classic DC villain to life. The trailers hinting at the confrontation between Lex Luthor and Superman are highly anticipated moments that I can’t wait to witness when Superman hits theaters in July.

With Guy Gardner’s Green Lantern making his debut in Superman, maybe we’ll get to hear the oath even before that!
