10 Unforgivable My Hero Academia Villains

In the world of “My Hero Academia“, there’s no shortage of villains, each with their unique forms. However, some transgressions surpass the others, earning them a place among the most reprehensible. These characters have left an indelible mark on the series through their horrific acts. They show no remorse for the loss of life and seek only to wreak havoc and chaos.

Regardless of whom these antagonists come up against, they’re solely focused on wreaking havoc and ruining lives they cross paths with. Remarkably, some of them have gone as far as taking the lives of blameless individuals who weren’t even confronting them. In “My Hero Academia,” the immoral aspects are occasionally highlighted, but it’s the heinous acts of the key villains that truly grab our attention.

Mustard Points a Gun at Students

In many cases, characters prefer to utilize their unique abilities or secondary weapons that don’t cause lethal harm for combat. Yet, there are some heroes and villains who have guns as part of their special powers. Even in such instances, they predominantly rely on these powers. However, Mustard stands out by opting to carry a firearm into battle, despite possessing a gas that can be toxic, indicating a preference for conventional weaponry over relying solely on his innate abilities.

In no other character in “My Hero Academia” wields a weapon as overtly sinister as Mustard’s. What makes this all the more heartbreaking is that he pulls out his gun even against children. Although it may not be the most appalling act ever committed by a villain, it does highlight the malevolent nature of his intentions right from the start.

The Sludge Villain Captures Katsuki Bakugo

In the anime “My Hero Academia,” The Sludge Villain is among the initial antagonists introduced. Completely formed from green goop, this villain navigates cityscapes while avoiding capture. However, when cornered, he resorts to a sinister act: he abducts a young middle school student named Katsuki Bakugo and attempts to choke him to death.

The villain from Sludge shouldn’t be so desparate as to contemplate killing a child. Choosing a middle schooler as a hostage makes it even more heinous than if he had targeted an adult instead. Though Bakugo has a powerful Quirk, during his capture, he was still a defenseless child. It’s only due to Deku’s courage that Bakugo is ultimately rescued.

All For One Tormented a Young Child for Most of His Life

Throughout his life, there seems to be no end to the harm he inflicted. Yet, some might contend that his most heinous act was not the numerous lives he destroyed or the souls he claimed, but rather the torment he subjected Tenko Shimura to. Despite all the deaths and ruined lives, it’s the cruelty he showed towards Tenko that stands out as his greatest crime.

Initially, Tenko was a fearful young boy yearning for aid, but instead of providing assistance, All For One seized custody over him and compelled him into a wicked lifestyle. He tormented Tenko with memories of his family’s remains, manipulating the boy (now referred to as “Tomura”) without his knowledge to carry out his orders and seize control of his life. Essentially, All For One exploited a defenseless child for personal gain.

Dr. Garaki Performs Human Experiments

At first glance, Dr. Garaki appears as an ordinary hospital physician, saving lives daily. Beneath this facade, however, lies a sinister figure – Dr. Garaki. In secret, he manipulates human beings and their unique abilities (Quirks) to construct grotesque creatures known as Nomu. These monstrous creations surpass many of the heroes in power.

Dr. Garaki might not participate directly in combat, but his inventions are some of the most horrifying entities known. The situation becomes all the more appalling when it’s discovered that numerous Nomus were not consulted about their creation. The doctor’s human experiments rank among the darkest events to unfold here.

Tenko Shimura Inadvertently Ended the Lives of His Family Members

Tomura Shigaraki’s history is filled with horrific deeds, making it difficult to single out one. Yet, there’s no disputing that the saddest event in his life was unintentionally taking the lives of most of his family members. This act alone is deeply tragic. However, what makes him truly chilling is deliberately killing his own father when he was still a child.

Overwhelmed by pain and unable to suppress his feelings, the young boy Tenko Shimura finds himself in turmoil. However, when confronted by his abusive father, the anger within him erupts. At such a tender age, Tenko’s heart is consumed by so much hatred that he intentionally uses his Decay Quirk to take his father’s life. Though it’s undeniable that Kotaro Shimura was a cruel man, witnessing a child like Tenko harboring such intense bloodlust was truly chilling.

ReDestro Isn’t the Hero He Thinks He Is

I find ReDestro captivating, as he seems to embody a time long past. He advocates for the freedom of Quirks, a stance that intrigues me. By day, he blends into society as a businessman dealing in Hero Support Equipment. However, beneath this facade lies his dedication to his father’s legacy with the Meta Liberation Army, which adds a layer of mystery and intrigue to his character.

Due to his deep emotional attachment to his work, ReDestro responds harshly to any criticism. In fact, when one of his assistants, Miyashita, dared to challenge him, ReDestro resorted to violence, taking the life of Miyashita with his own hands. Despite portraying himself as a champion for a new era, ReDestro’s actions speak volumes about the kind of man he truly is.

Muscular Tries to Finish the Job

A character exhibits raw physical power, often dominating anyone he encounters. He even attempts to murder two individuals, Kota Izumi and Deku, during the Summer Training Camp raid. However, it’s not just his actions in this instance that make him one of the most wicked villains; it’s also his past transgressions.

In the past, Muscular was responsible for slaying both of Kota’s parents in a conflict. This tragic event compels him to pursue Kota with the intent of completing the act. While taking any life is reprehensible, targeting an entire family for destruction transcends moral boundaries. The ruthlessness of Muscular is surpassed only by his prodigious strength.

Dabi Wants to Disillusion the Public to Heroes

Despite enduring a difficult upbringing, it’s crucial to acknowledge that Dabi is responsible for approximately thirty murders as an adult. He exhibits no regret towards his actions and sees chaos as his only purpose. His malicious deeds extend to setting fire to the orphanage he was placed in, demonstrating a complete disregard for human life.

Despite being a member of the League of Villains, Dabi has gained notoriety as a ruthless serial killer. He justifies his crimes, yet deep down, he doesn’t seem to care. His ultimate goal is to expose the hypocrisy of heroes and prove that they are not the embodiments of goodness as people perceive them to be. This is what Dabi aims to accomplish.

Stain Believes That No Hero Is as Pure as All Might

In the early stages of “My Hero Academia,” I can’t help but agree that Stain lives up to his ominous reputation. His goal: to eliminate as many Pro Heroes as I can find. Why? Because in his twisted mind, they’re all tainted by corruption. The one exception? All Might, the epitome of altruism, in his eyes. And boy, does he stir up quite a storm of fear and uncertainty across the city!

Not just heroes, Stain eliminates them; moreover, he inflicted severe harm on at least one. Currently, Tensei Iida cannot perform his duties as Ingenium because of his injuries. Stain lacks compassion for any hero, regardless of their actions. To him, most heroes are merely playing a game driven by greed, which he finds abhorrent.

Overhaul Performs Experiments on Eri

Overhaul, a maniacal villain driven by unquenchable power lust, abducts his superior’s granddaughter with sinister intentions. Instead of providing her with a comfortable space, he keeps her confined in a dungeon-like area. He then forces cruel and invasive procedures upon her, slicing open her skin to drain her blood. This blood is subsequently utilized to concoct an illicit drug designed to erase Quirks.

In “My Hero Academia,” one particularly disturbing plot element is how Overhaul treats Eri. So frightened is she that she can’t muster the courage to join Deku and Lemillion when they encounter her on the street. It should be noted that Eri had already endured a great deal of trauma prior to being sheltered by her grandfather, making Overhaul’s behavior in this storyline all the more appalling.
