A remastered version of a popular 1998 RPG exclusively for PlayStation 1 has quietly been launched, not on PS4 or PS5 but on the Nintendo Switch instead. The stealth release happened in Japan on August 1, 2024, and globally on PC via Steam earlier this year on January 21. Now, Sting has brought the Nintendo Switch version to the west. You can find it on the Nintendo eShop for $24.99, but until May 7, it’s on sale at a discounted price of $19.99.

However, due to the original not being released outside Japan, those who are unaware of it have had no choice but to import an untranslated version if they wanted to play it.
