2024 Emmys: All the Couples Turning the Red Carpet Into a Date Night

As I gaze upon these captivating images of love and companionship, I can’t help but feel a profound sense of admiration for the individuals who have found their soulmates amidst the vastness of this world. Each couple stands as a testament to the universal quest for connection, understanding, and mutual growth.

These couples deserve an Emmy for Most Outstanding Display of Affection.

During the upcoming 2024 Emmy Awards, hosted by Dan Levy and Eugene Levy, several prominent figures in television will be recognized – including “The Bear,” “Shogun,” “Only Murders in the Building,” and “The Crown” which lead in nominations. Moreover, the September 15th event serves as a platform for stars to make a fashion statement by bringing their significant others along.

Just as they shine on stage during their performances, these stars are dazzling on the red carpet at the Primetime Emmys. Be sure to check out each one by clicking here.

At a shining gala filled with famous couples, Liza Colón-Zayas from The Bear made an impression. She’s the one who received her first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role on FX, and she was dressed in a striking green gown designed by Christian Siriano. Accompanying her was her husband of more than 25 years, David Zayas.

Recently, I was taken aback when my beloved Jesse Tyler Ferguson, a man I’ve admired for years, stepped out with his husband of 11 remarkable years, Justin Mikita, sporting a completely clean-shaven visage. Just like the sun shining brightly, Jodie Foster and her wife of 10 years, Alexandra Hedison, were also among the radiant couples that caught my eye as they gracefully entered the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Regarding our host, Eugene, he’s been married to his wife, Deborah Divine, for almost half a century. Together they have two children: Dan, who is 41 years old, and Sarah Levy, aged 37. The couple tends to keep a low profile, so it was only natural for Eugene to pose with his son and co-host on the red carpet.

Tonight, the father-son team is kept busy, given the numerous trophies to be distributed. Notably, the FX series “Shogun,” featuring Hiroyuki Sanada and Cosmo Jarvis, leads the race with a total of 25 nominations in all categories. In the drama genre, Netflix’s “The Crown,” which wrapped up its final season in 2023, is a close second with 18 nominations.

Simultaneously, “The Bear” created Emmy history in the comedy series category by receiving a total of 23 nominations, surpassing the record of 22 set by “30 Rock” in 2009. The series is contending for various overall categories such as Outstanding Writing, Outstanding Directing, and Outstanding Casting. Furthermore, Jeremy Allen-White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, and Liza are each nominated in their respective acting categories for their outstanding performances.

In the series “Only Murders in the Building,” Meryl Streep and Martin Short, who were previously known only as friends, delivered such compelling on-screen romance that they received nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress (Meryl Streep) and Outstanding Lead Actor (Martin Short). The show garnered a total of 21 nominations. You can see the list of winners so far here.
