3 Emmerdale spoilers next week

1. April Windsor in danger as Ross Barton fears history will repeat itself

Mackenzie Boyd (also known as Lawrence Robb) takes pleasure in flaunting his relationship with stepson Moses, which seems to irk father figure Ross. Moreover, Mack feels content knowing he has the ill-gotten funds to support his loved ones.

Simultaneously, Jade (Twinnie Lee Moore) makes demands towards Ross, asserting that he should find and return the $10,000 she alleges was taken.

In the midst of growing allegations, Ross maintains his innocence about the missing funds, while unknowingly, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) ends up shielding the culprit, Mack.

In a casual, understandable manner: Jade pesters Ross about April and Charity Dingle (played by Emma Atkins), and he’s worried sick that the increasing dangers to his family might escalate if he can’t repay Jade the money he owes her.

Ross makes an attempt, but fails, at persuading clueless Charity to take Moses with them for his safety, all the while unbeknownst to April, Jade observes her feeling annoyed.

Since Marlon Dingle, April’s father, refuses to allow her to visit town after school, she hesitantly agrees to ride with what appears to be a kind stranger named Jade instead.

Over a video chat with Ross, Jade confides that she’s taken April captive. In response, Ross takes Billy Fletcher’s car (driven by Jay Kontzle) for a solo mission to save April. He receives the necessary location details from Jade.

Ross finds himself filled with apprehension as he discovers he’s en route to a location closely tied to the demise of April’s mother, Donna Windsor, played by Verity Rushworth.

In 2014, memories of his lost love Donna, who took her life, continually haunt Ross. He encounters April, who is in tears, being restrained near a parking lot by one of Jade’s associates.

As Jade continues to demand the cash that Ross doesn’t have, can he save poor April?

2. Ruby Fox-Miligan struggles amid olive branch to father Anthony Fox

Ruby is shaken to realise that Anthony is telling the truth about his cancer diagnosis.

Steph Miligan (Georgia Jay) successfully persuades Caleb Miligan (William Ash) that it’s crucial for Ruby and Anthony to address their issues in order to maintain peace within the family and the community.

Later on, Ruby attempts to reconcile with Anthony, considering it beneficial for Caleb and Steph. However, as she appears to move away from this apparently contented family, one wonders what secrets she might be concealing.

Anthony suggests to Steph that it appears less and less likely they’ll reconcile with Ruby, and subtly proposes that she might consider moving away from the village to help him out.

Caleb implores Ruby to figure out a solution to maintain their relationship, as they both want to continue being part of little Steph’s life.

But with Ruby increasingly troubled, will she agree?

3. Brenda Walker hurt by a revelation from Eric Pollard

Pollard is confused that the uplift in cryptocurrency is not showing on his account.

While Brenda joyfully locates her perfect wedding dress, she becomes concerned to discover that there seems to be no funds available in her bank account to cover the cost.

Pollard lies to Brenda, claiming her missing money must be due to a technology glitch.

In due course, it becomes apparent that Liam Cavanagh (portrayed by Jonny McPherson) exhibits worry as Pollard appears ready to act imprudently with the store’s funds, his focus being set on wagering on a particular horse.

Pollard is thwarted when Liam’s attempts to stop him lead to the latter blocking his exit.

Soon, Pollard will encounter the anger of an outraged and enraged Brenda, but his attempts to apologize and make things right will not be well-received.

It’s possible that Pollard’s sincerity in his marriage proposal could have been affected by the medications he takes for his Parkinson’s disease, as Brenda finds out during their conversation.

Pollard is heartbroken at the turmoil he’s caused, while Brenda despairs.

Is there any way back for the couple?
