The way he was caught off guard by Victoria’s snooping and the discovery of those dog tags… well, it’s a familiar feeling, isn’t it?

3 Emmerdale spoilers next week

1. Danger as evil Tom King corners Belle King

As a devoted film buff, I received an unexpected call from my landlord, Kim Tate (played brilliantly by Claire King), informing me of a state of disarray in our shared residence. In a heartbeat, my trusted confidante, Lydia Dingle (the exceptional Karen Blick), stood alongside me, ready to confront the issue head-on. Together, we ventured into the house, eager to address the situation at hand.

Within, Belle spots a tiny screw on the ground and recognizes it as a concealed mini-camera belonging to Tom – the abusive one. She’s horrified to discover that he has continued to surreptitiously record her.

Lydia kindly urges her sister-in-law to report the matter to the authorities, as she expresses feelings of violation.

However, Lydia worries because Belle strongly declines to testify against her former husband. This is due to the fear that it may reawaken her past traumas and require her to disclose private videos in a court setting.

Later on, Belle requests Lydia to recount her encounter with reporter Craig Reed (Ben Addis), whom she had reported to the police. Lydia obliges, leaving her emotional yet optimistic that she’s aided Belle in some way.

The duo stands together in their mutual backing, and Lydia fervently hopes that her words have been persuasive enough for Belle to report the matter to the authorities.

In the meantime, Amelia Spencer (played by Daisy Campbell) misunderstands the situation and lashes out at Belle and Chas Dingle (portrayed by Lucy Pargeter), due to their opposition towards Tom.

In my perspective, I team up with Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) and Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), and together we uncover clues that lead us to believe that Amelia is likely maintaining communication with Tom.

It appears that Amelia may have changed her view regarding Tom, as she subsequently sets up a confidential encounter with Belle. However, one might wonder about the reliability of Amelia’s intentions.

When Belle is waiting for Amelia, she’s taken aback when Tom unexpectedly enters, shuts the door behind him, and locks it. One can’t help but wonder if this was orchestrated by Amelia. As for the arrival of an ambulance, it remains unclear who it might be there to assist.

2. John Sugden impresses Liam Cavanagh as Victoria Sugden makes a discovery

As a movie buff putting it in my own words, when I swiftly intervene to help Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell), who’s experiencing an angina attack, Dr. Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) is taken aback by my quick wit. Despite my usual awkward demeanor, I bask in the praise and decide to take up a position at Brook Surgery.

However, the week shifts direction when Victoria displays old family photographs, becoming irritated as John seems oblivious, engrossed in his mobile device instead.

Feeling neglected, Vic snaps and snatches John’s phone from him, and she’s shocked to see he’s been texting Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller). A reeling Victoria quizzes John about his secret love affair, and he storms out.

Curious about any secrets John might be concealing, Vic taps on the side of his vehicle to offer an apology. However, receiving no answer, Vic decides to enter without permission and begins a search, discovering dog tags engraved with the name “Aidan Moore.

Upon John’s arrival, he’s enraged by what he perceives as Victoria violating his privacy and promptly asks her to leave. However, the question remains: Will Victoria discover John’s hidden truth?

3. Manpreet Sharma catches Laurel Thomas and Charles Anderson mid-passion?

Charles and his mother Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson) express concern that Laurel’s innovative thoughts might be too progressive for the church, leading to disagreements with her regarding her suggestions for the harvest festival.

It upsets Charles to discover that Laurel carried out her plans without his input first, causing him to react angrily.

Initially, their intense dislike for each other was palpable, but unexpectedly, it morphed into an all-consuming passion. Before I knew it, they were sharing a tender kiss – quite the surprising turn of events!

Shocked by their attraction, they banter back and forth before heading upstairs together.

Unaware, Manpreet urges Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) to express his feelings to Laurel, and secretly ponders over doing the same with Charles as well.

But when Manpreet arrives at Woodbine cottage, will she catch Laurel and Charles?
