As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and patience as Gamescom approaches once more. The Summer of Gaming was indeed a rollercoaster, but now it’s time to buckle up for the next leg of our gaming journey!
Previously, The Summer of Gaming offered a mix of thrill and letdown, but now it’s high time we shift our focus towards the upcoming major event of the year – Gamescom. Taking place from August 21st to 25th at Koelnmesse, Germany, this grand spectacle will also welcome back Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 20th. While several games have already been confirmed, let’s delve into some of the most anticipated announcements set for the week. Stay tuned as we explore the biggest confirmed (and speculated) announcements for the event.
Replaced
Unfortunately, Sad Cat Studios’ game Replaced has been pushed back yet again, now slated for 2025. Given the developer’s circumstances, this delay is somewhat reasonable. However, we have received an extensive look at its new gameplay, and a playable demo will be accessible during Gamescom. Despite the passage of years, the game continues to captivate with its stunning visuals. All that remains is patience for a definitive release date.
