33 Immortals Early Access Delayed to 2025

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for action RPGs and a soft spot for cooperative gameplay, I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and frustration upon hearing about the delay of Thunder Lotus’s 33 Immortals. With my gaming journey spanning decades, I’ve come to understand that delays are often an unavoidable part of bringing a game to life, especially one as ambitious as this.

33 Immortals, developed by Thunder Lotus, did not show up among the titles displayed in Microsoft’s Xbox Partner Preview. In a recent tweet, the developers announced that their 33-player cooperative action RPG has been postponed, with an early access release now planned for the year 2025.

The reason for the delay is that we need a tad longer to bake it properly, but significant advancements have been achieved. We’re also dealing with some unforeseen complications concerning stability, and our goal is to tackle the feedback collected during our private beta tests held throughout this year.

As a passionate gamer, I can’t wait to dive back into the game world! Although an exact release date hasn’t been announced yet, there’s exciting news on the horizon. We’ll soon have another chance to play on Xbox and the Epic Games Store, which feels like it’s just around the corner. It seems we might be exploring a new area and battling a formidable boss, reminiscent of the second closed beta experience. I can hardly contain my excitement!

33 Immortals, currently under development for Xbox Series X/S and PC, features a narrative where 33 condemned souls strive to break free from the confines of Hell, ultimately aiming to overpower the deity who brought this fate upon them. While gameplay is somewhat like a rogue-like, players can collaborate with one another to conquer dungeons and various events, much like in MMOs.
