4 EastEnders spoilers next week: Priya takes revenge on Nish and Callum is mortified

As a long-time fan of EastEnders, I’ve seen my fair share of twists and turns in Walford. But the upcoming storylines have left me on the edge of my seat!

Nish Panesar, portrayed by Navin Chowdhry, faces the consequences of his heartless actions towards Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy). She retaliates, but is Nish’s defeat complete?

At the same time, Alfie Moon, played by Shane Richie, attempts to assert authority over his son Tommy Moon’s misbehavior, which continues unabated. Additionally, Callum Highway’s friendship with Johnny Carter, portrayed by Charlie Suff, faces scrutiny.

In a shocking turn of events, I found myself reeling as the characters I had grown fond of, Chelsea Fox, portrayed brilliantly by Zaraah Abrahams, and Bernie Taylor, brought to life by Clair Norris, were hit with devastating news from the sinister Gray Atkins, played by Toby-Alexander Smith.

Read on for all your EastEnders spoilers from 29th July – 1st August 2024.

4 EastEnders spoilers next week

1. Priya Nandra-Hart takes revenge on Nish Panesar

4 EastEnders spoilers next week: Priya takes revenge on Nish and Callum is mortified

Nish takes pleasure in having the spotlight with his sons Ravi Gulati (previously Aaron Thiara) and Vinny Panesar (originally Shiv Jalota). However, he pushes Vinny aside when the latter attempts to participate in a business transaction.

Vinny confides in his mother Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) as they scheme over their family business. Suki encourages her son to show courage to gain Nish’s admiration. In response, Vinny crashes a meeting at Walford East, determined to win over the new client and capture Nish’s attention.

Instead of disrupting the meeting with a harsh critique of Nish, Priya confronted him, causing Vinny to forcibly remove her from the house in an attempt to regain Nish’s trust. Suki expressed doubts over Vinny’s approach, but he remained firm, believing it would ultimately bring Nish closer to him.

Priya, played by Hina Khan, faces rejection from her daughter Avani Nandra-Hart (portrayed by Aaliyah James). She then seeks assistance from Martin Fowler (James Bye). Meanwhile, Vinny shares his deeds with Nish, who is left impressed.

Priya deeply yearns to be present with her son Davinder “Nugget” Gulati (played by Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) during his hospital dialysis appointments. However, Ravi prevents her from being there. Determined not to give up, Priya joins forces with Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) to find a way around this obstacle. But their clandestine plan is discovered by Ravi and Nish.

A heated argument breaks out with serious consequences, and later, in her desperation, Priya entices Nish to the Minute Mart. Once there, she handcuffs him and compels him to record a video in which he retracts his false claim that they had slept together. Will Priya’s plan succeed?

As the week progresses, Nish requests Avani’s assistance in locating a woman online. He shares with her that this individual is an acquaintance of Suki’s from the past. So, what could Nish be intending to do now?

2. Alfie Moon steps in over Tommy Moon’s behaviour

4 EastEnders spoilers next week: Priya takes revenge on Nish and Callum is mortified

As a devoted film buff, I can’t help but relate this situation to a scene from one of my favorite movies. Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), feeling exhausted and at her limit with Tommy’s behavior, considers taking a break and letting Alfie take care of the kids. Yet, she remains firm in her belief that she needs to be present to keep things under control. Unfortunately, her concerns prove valid when Tommy becomes rough with their twins, leaving Kat no choice but to intervene once again.

With Tommy’s behavior causing anxiety for Kat, Alfie listens sympathetically and pledges his support. He adopts a firm approach towards their son as an alternative strategy. Tommy, believing that Alfie intends to persuade Kat for a vacation, mends his ways. Delighted by the improvement, Alfie notices Tommy’s better behavior towards Kat.

Afterward, Alfie plans to organize a small-scale Olympics event in the Square. However, he needs to convince Tommy to join in by proposing a monetary reward for the victor. Could this be a sign of Tommy’s change of heart?

3. Callum Highway horrified by assumption over Johnny Carter friendship

4 EastEnders spoilers next week: Priya takes revenge on Nish and Callum is mortified

Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth), Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), and Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown) plan a trip to America to see Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) in prison. Unfortunately, Callum, Ben’s husband, can’t accompany them as he’s unable to secure time off from work.

Johnny intends to lift Callum’s spirits by encouraging some relaxation, but Callum refuses, claiming he isn’t in the right frame of mind. However, Callum becomes more agitated when he fails to answer Ben’s phone call. Eventually, Honey Mitchell manages to convince him to go out for a drink with her.

The duo engage in a deep conversation, and Honey motivates Callum to seize the moment and live life to the fullest. She suggests he goes out for an evening with Johnny, and before long, Callum is preparing to do just that.

After Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) remarks that he’s quickly gotten over Ben, Callum is shocked and offended. He can’t fathom the thought of ever leaving Ben behind. What will be Callum’s response?

4. Shock news from killer Gray Atkins

4 EastEnders spoilers next week: Priya takes revenge on Nish and Callum is mortified

Chelsea dislikes working under Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) at Peggy’s, but matters take a turn for the worse when they notice a “For Sale” sign being put up at their shared house.

In 2022, Gray was imprisoned for his heinous crimes against Chantelle and Kush Kazemi, as well as Tina Carter. Unfortunately for Chelsea and her companions, they learn that Gray is now getting rid of his assets. This alarming news implies that Chelsea’s group will soon be left without a place to call home.

After surviving Gray’s desperate attempt to take her life, Chelsea established a new residence with a circle of companions and Jordan, her young child fathered by Gray. What’s next for her?

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One and from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
