Elden Ring
One more remarkable title from the esteemed FromSoftware, hailing from the soulslike genre, that we’ve included in our list is none other than Elden Ring. The final game we’ve chosen to include on this list has been quite a subject of debate. When Kuon debuted on PlayStation 2 in the early 2000s, it was met with largely negative feedback from critics. There were numerous elements that left reviewers unimpressed; however, opinions seem to have evolved over time.
Looking back, when I ponder over the horror games from those old days, it seems like everyone brings up Kuon. It’s as if, at the time, maybe not everyone fully grasped its unique charm. But let me tell you, for anyone who appreciates the genre, this game is definitely intriguing. With the ability to control three distinct characters and set in the Heian era, it’s a title that will surely captivate fans of the genre.
