In this post, let’s discuss five potential new creatures that Capcom might add to the roster in future updates for the Monster Hunter Wilds game.
In the Monster Hunter series, the spotlight is on the monstrous characters. These beasts are the headliners, providing the main source of amusement for you. Each beast presents a unique challenge and necessitates a distinct approach. They also exhibit diverse appearances, infusing them with character and individuality.
It appears that Monster Hunter Wilds is set to launch with a fixed roster of monsters, however, additional creatures will be added through multiple game updates throughout the game’s lifespan. Fans are eagerly anticipating which monsters might be introduced in upcoming updates, and we share this enthusiasm. In this article, we’ll discuss five monsters that Capcom could potentially introduce in Monster Hunter Wilds title updates.
1) Ahtal-Ka
Getting us started is Ahtal-Ka, a creature resembling an insect that’s equally fearsome due to its appearance and abilities. This giant mantis-like being sports vibrant colors, much like many harmful insects found in nature. In Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, Ahtal-Ka serves as the final boss. It wields razor-sharp claws to cut through opponents, and it can fire silk beams at enemies. If necessary, it can even transform into Ahtal-Neset, a more powerful form, using its silk. We’d be thrilled if Ahtal-Ka made an appearance in one of the game updates.
2) Malzeno
In a more recent addition to the Monster Hunter series, we have Malzeno, who first appeared in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. This monster swiftly became a crowd favorite, not only because of its unique design but also due to its blend of gothic and regal elegance. With golden horns adorning his head, this Elder Dragon moves on all fours and sports black and red wings. Reminiscent of a high-ranking commander in battle, Malzeno orders Qurio to manipulate and drain enemies of their life energy while inflicting Bloodblight. As Qurio saps your strength, Malzeno swiftly charges forward to unleash devastating attacks with his powerful limbs. Malzeno is an excellent choice for inclusion in one of the game updates.
3) Lunagaron
In another words, Lunagaron – a fearsome beast resembling both wolf and lizard – is swift and armed with razor-sharp talons. This fearsome Fanged Wyvern made its debut in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, yet quickly captured hearts with its striking appearance. Remarkably agile, Lunagaron can ascend walls and various surfaces thanks to its lizard-like traits. Its primary weapons are its teeth and claws, ensuring that every encounter with this creature is a close combat experience. If included in an update for the game, Lunagaron promises an exhilarating twist in the gameplay.
4) Valstrax
In the opinion of many fans, Valstrax could be the most impressive Elder Dragon ever featured in the series, and it first appeared in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. This creature is distinguished by its wings made of fire, a trait uncommon among other Elder Dragons. As it flies through the sky, it leaves a trail of light reminiscent of an asteroid falling from space, creating quite a spectacle. Its fiery wings aren’t just for show; they serve as its primary method of attack. Valstrax discharges Dragon Element energy from its wings that seeks out its target to inflict harm. It would be exciting to encounter this dragon in an update for Monster Hunter Wilds.
5) Tigrex
The last item on this list is a monster from Monster Hunter Freedom 2 that captivated fans with its intense predatory ferocity. Known as Tigrex, it shares a design reminiscent of a T-Rex equipped with wings. This uncomplicated yet recognizable appearance creates an illusion of familiarity, making you feel at ease – but beware, this is when the creature attacks. Tigrex can move at astonishing speeds, swiftly covering distances and refusing to let go. Similar to a real T-Rex, Tigrex maintains its footing while hunting, yet it won’t hesitate to use its wings if necessary. This beast has no elemental abilities and solely relies on sheer physical power to overpower you.
