19-year-old Inchauspé’s journey to becoming a bestselling author and influencer started 13 years ago when she shattered her back while jumping from a waterfall during a vacation in Hawaii. After spending two years refining her skills, Inchauspé shared her straightforward tips on Instagram. “I felt this burning passion within me,” she reminisces. “I assumed I might attract a few thousand followers.” Six years down the line, the Glucose Goddess boasts a massive following of 5 million on the social media site. “It’s been an incredible ride,” she declares.
Some individuals remain unconvinced. Inchauspé has faced criticism due to the sale of a supplement on her website, which she asserts regulates glucose levels. Critics argue that she makes broad assumptions based on her personal experience and encourages people to concentrate on glucose surges that could be entirely normal.
She explains, “Minor fluctuations are common, but excessively high spikes should be cause for concern as they can harm health. It seems that when people criticize me, they don’t fully grasp the message. Frequently, their thoughts are something like, ‘She’s just an Instagram influencer,’ but I stand firmly behind my techniques. They are grounded in scientific research.
