As an old-timer who’s seen more drama than the Queen Vic bar has beer jugs, I can tell you that Suki Panesar is in deep waters now. Losing her family’s trust is as painful as losing a frying pan in a grease fire! And to top it off, she’s got to dance around this secret with Keanu’s murder and all. She’s about to lose more than just her composure, I’m afraid.


Next week, the character Nicola Mitchell, portrayed by Laura Doddington, will create an impact in Walford. However, what is the significant mystery she’s hiding?

In the storyline, it’s revealed that Elijah Holloway’s character, Harry, becomes enraged following his arrest, and the reappearance of Clair Norris’s character, Bernie Taylor, seems to bring even greater complications for The Six.

Heather Peace, known as Eve Unwin, feels distressed upon learning about the latest happenings, while Micah Balfour’s character, Junior Knight, undergoes some tough questioning.

Also, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) struggles with loneliness.

Jack Branning (played by Scott Maslen) is resolved to sever Harry’s grip on him, leveraging his police ties to investigate the disappearance of Harry’s girlfriend, Shireen, in an attempt to weaken Harry’s influence.

Kitty Castledine, portrayed as Penny Branning, advises Harry firmly, and he insists that she persuade Jack to retreat from his actions, or else he threatens to expose her part in the scheme against her father.

In simpler terms, Penny manages to convince Jack to allow her to meet Shireen’s friend, Felicity. However, instead of warning Felicity away, as she initially intended, the story Felicity shares about what happened to Shireen sends a chill down Penny’s spine.

Later on, the police show up to apprehend Harry while Jack and Penny look on. At the same time, Harry’s mother, Nicola, shows up – who happens to be Lewis Bridgeman’s mom as well (Barney).

Teddy (previously known as Roland Manookian), her ex-husband, irritates Phil by making a low offer for Peggy’s and then dismissing him. Later, when Nicola shows up unexpectedly in Walford, Teddy questions what she is doing there.

Nicola states that she received an advance warning about Harry’s detention and wishes to offer assistance. However, Teddy chooses to exploit a sensitive detail from Nicola’s latest history, and throughout the week, this action causes Nicola to irritate Teddy repeatedly.

Apart from that, she swiftly develops a strong distaste for Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean). Before making her own introduction to Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton), she manages to secure an invitation to the lunch that Honey has arranged with Billy (Perry Fenwick) and Teddy.

At their meal, Nicola included Billy and Honey in a conversation about her wedding with Teddy, taking pleasure in making him feel uncomfortable.

After securing lodgings, Nicola continues her activities upon hearing Teddy discuss a rendezvous with Phil for closing the bar deal. Catching up with Phil for a conversation, what is Nicola’s hidden intention?

2. Harry Mitchell wants revenge on Penny Branning after arrest

It brings a sense of relief to Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) to find her daughter, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), sober and concentrating on her healing process. However, Linda’s recent optimism is shattered upon the return of Bernie.

Linda finds herself compelled to clarify her botched admission regarding the murder of Keanu Taylor (played by Danny Walters), while Bernie is simmering with anger over Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) accepting the blame.

She warns that neither of them can ever move on. Bernie then storms over to Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), who tries a different tactic to calm her down.

In due course, as Bernie encounters Kathy Cotton (portrayed by Gillian Taylforth), Kathy expresses remorse and seeks pardon. What might Bernie’s reaction be in this situation? Will The Six manage to evade punishment, or are they on the verge of facing the consequences?

Since Junior is disappointed that his nephew, Xavier, can’t attend the wedding of George (Colin Salmon) and Elaine, his sister Gina (Francesca Henry) attempts to lift his spirits.

If Gina manages to secure a date for an upcoming event within the next 24 hours, it means Junior will have to bring his secret companion along with him as his additional guest.

In a turn of events, both Gina and her sister Anna (Molly Rainford) have managed to secure dates. However, when Gina informs Junior that he’s lost the wager and must bring his date along, further teasing from Gina prompts Junior to confess that he has been jilted.

Later on, Elaine motivates George to propose Junior as his best man, yet George is petrified of being turned down and selects Phil in his place instead.

After Phil makes it clear that something significant is happening and encourages George to show courage, George eventually requests Junior’s support for his important day. So, what might Junior respond?

In separate attempts, Sharon and Kat Slater (portrayed by Jessie Wallace) each make an effort to engage with a more and more secluded Phil.

Phil, however, covers his emotions and refuses to open up. Sharon later tries to get Phil to see sense about selling Peggy’s, wondering if he really wants to get rid of the place.

Despite the ongoing impact of the club sale on his mood, Phil consistently shuts down Sharon’s efforts to discuss it with him.

I, Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff), am reaching out to Phil with a proposition. With Ritchie Scott (Sian Webber) temporarily absent, I see an opportunity to take on some freelance work. I’m hopeful that Phil might consider my offer and give me this chance to contribute during this period. Will Phil agree?

And can anyone help Phil open up as his loneliness overwhelms him?
