6 New PS Plus Extra, Premium Games Available to Download Now

This month’s updates for both PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium are now active, offering six additional PS5, PS4, and Classic games to enjoy, along with the two that were made available earlier last week. These new games can be downloaded immediately in the UK, Europe, and other regions; US members will have access later today.

Here’s a reminder of what becomes available today on PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium:

  • Hogwarts Legacy (PS5, PS4) | Review

PS Plus Premium: April 2025

  • Alone in the Dark 2 (PS1)
  • War of the Monsters (PS2)

Here are six extra games that have been added to our collection, joining the two games, Blue Prince and EA Sports PGA Tour for PS5, which were released last week. You can find our complete list of these PS Plus Games by following the link provided below. As a reminder, you can only play these games while they’re part of the service. After their expiration dates, you will need to purchase them to continue playing them.

Over the past weekend, I helped out with a poll on Push Square about the game lineup for April 2025. Out of over 1,500 gamers who participated, approximately 40% expressed some level of satisfaction with the games chosen. It’s clear that there are still some dissenting voices, as 16% said they think the lineup is less than stellar. However, it seems like we’re moving in the right direction!

Among the games coming up on PS Plus Extra this month, both Blue Prince and Hogwarts Legacy have been generating a lot of anticipation as the ones people are most eager to play. However, there seems to be less enthusiasm for Alone in the Dark 2 and War of the Monsters, which may indicate a weaker lineup on PS Plus Premium.
