6 Shocking Fake Endings That Will Change Everything for White Lotus Season 3!

It’s nearly time to check out of the White Lotus, but not everyone will make it out alive.

Regarding the mystery surrounding the death hinted at in the opening episode, it’s one of several unanswered questions that have viewers eager for the final episode. Skillfully crafted by showrunner Mike White and his team, the complete truth won’t be disclosed until the HBO series reaches its season three end on April 6.

David Bernad, the executive producer, revealed during a recent interview with People (on April 4) that they created false conclusions for the scripts. In essence, they wrote six distinct endings and shared some of these misleading endings with people, so if any information leaked, they could claim there were multiple fake endings available.

Only particular actors and production team members were granted access for crucial final scenes, as a security measure to prevent any surprises or leaks.

In simpler terms, Bernad stated that during the filming of the final scene, it was a tightly controlled set. This means very few people had the ability to get close or even see what we were working on, and no one outside our production (i.e., those not part of “White Lotus”) would have witnessed our activities.

In addition to boasting an illustrious cast that includes Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Blackpink’s Lisa, Natasha Rothwell, and others for its third season, the show, known for its thrilling conclusions, had several secrets they were determined to keep hidden. One such secret was the return of Jon Gries as Gary, also known as Greg, the mysterious widower of Jennifer Coolidge’s character Tanya McQuoid. Interestingly, Gries, who appears in all three seasons, was particularly dedicated to preserving this surprise.

During our journey, upon arriving in Thailand, he opted not to fly for approximately 45 minutes but decided to travel by bus instead,” Bernad explained. “It seemed as though he drove around 12 hours from Phuket to Bangkok.

From my perspective as a devoted fan, I can’t help but wonder how we’ll react to the season three finale. Charlotte Le Bon, who portrays Chloe in the series, recently shared with The Hollywood Reporter, “I think people might find themselves disliking Mike White,” but he remains hopeful about the audience’s response.

White expressed his desire for the series’ emotional impact to be one of relief or fulfillment, rather than confusion. He acknowledged that various interpretations will emerge, but he hopes the ending will be well-received.

Delve into the cast of season three of “The White Lotus” and discover where you’ve previously encountered these faces.

How do you feel about that? The solo artist famously known as Lisa transitioned from being a global rockstar with the K-pop group Blackpink (alongside Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé) to assuming the White Lotus staff uniform for her major role as Mook.

It seems like Lucius Malfoy has found himself in a different magical realm this time – The White Lotus resort. Yes, you’ve guessed it! The Harry Potter actor is gracing our screens once more, stepping into the shoes of an affluent patriarch this time around, portraying Timothy Ratliff. This character is described as a successful businessman enjoying a vacation with his wife and three children.

In addition, Isaac has recently been featured on TV programs such as Robot Chicken, The Great, and Sex Education. Notably, he shared screen time with his White Lotus co-star Aimee Lou Wood in these shows.

Without shouting when you spot it, Posey (Timothy’s wife Victoria Ratliff in the series) might seem recognizable due to her roles in films like Superman Returns, Blade: Trinity, Scream 3, and Dazed and Confused. Additionally, she has made guest appearances on popular TV shows such as Parks and Recreation, New Girl, Portlandia, and Search Party.

However, ardent lovers of romantic comedies would recognize her from the 1998 beloved film “You’ve Got Mail”, where she portrayed Tom Hanks’ character, Joe Fox’s girlfriend, named Patricia Eden.

Though he’s primarily recognized from family snapshots as the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, he has previously established his acting credentials with roles in “Gen V”, “The Terminal List”, and “The Staircase”. Before assuming the role of Saxon Ratliff in season three, he had already gained recognition for these parts.

Before playing the role of Piper, Ratliff’s daughter, Hook had already gained experience in horror and fantasy genres. Previously, she played Debbie Glatzel in “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It”, Juliette Fairmont in “First Kill” and Elena Milak in “Monsterland”.

Apart from recognizing her as Caroline Merteuil in the 2024 remake of “Cruel Intentions,” you might be familiar with her from the Ryan Murphy-created cinematic world, where she portrayed Catherine Allday Davis during the episodes centered around the Bill Clinton–Monica Lewinsky scandal in “Impeachment: American Crime Story.

Nivola, currently in a relationship with Iris Apatow, the daughter of Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann, joins the Ratliff family as the young Lochlan. However, prior to his journey to Thailand, he was featured in another series revolving around a wealthy beach-going family: “The Perfect Couple”, where he played Will Winbury, son to Greer and Tag Winbury, portrayed by Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber respectively. Notably, he shared the screen with Meghann Fahy, who was also in “The White Lotus” and appeared as Daphne Sullivan in season two of HBO’s series before taking on the role of Merritt Monaco in “The Perfect Couple”.

Apart from his roles, Nivola has appeared alongside Adam Driver in the movie “White Noise,” Bradley Cooper in “Maestro,” and Anne Hathaway in the film titled “With/In.

Without a doubt, enthusiasts of the show “White Lotus” might recall Rothwell from season one where she portrayed spa expert Belinda in Maui. Interestingly, she’s returning for season three, and moreover, her acting skills have been showcased in productions like “Insecure”, “Wonka”, “A Year and Change”, and “Love, Simon”. To add to that, she utilized her comedic talents as a writer for “Saturday Night Live” from 2014 to 2015.

The actress who played Iron Man is now set to appear as Kate in The White Lotus, following her role as Christine Everhart in the Marvel series. Most recently, she was seen as Dinah Donahue in Palm Royale and as Grace Kennedy-Sampson in Jupiter’s Legacy.

In a new role, the actress renowned from the Gilded Age era – who might also be recognizable from The Sinner, Fargo, and The Leftovers – takes on the character of Laurie this season. She teams up with friends Kate and Jaclyn for a girls’ vacation in Thailand.

In her role as Jaclyn on “The White Lotus,” Monaghan is indeed a TV personality, but she also holds that title off-screen. She’s graced our screens with her presence on shows like “True Detective,” “Bad Monkey,” “Messiah,” and “The Path.” On the silver screen, she’s made notable appearances as Julia in “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” and Angie Genaro in “Gone Baby Gone.

As a die-hard admirer, let me tell you, I can confidently say that it’s not just my imagination—this guy looks like someone I’ve seen before! Besides gracing the screens of two Quentin Tarantino masterpieces (where he played Billy Crash in “Django Unchained” and Sheriff Chris Mannix in “The Hateful Eight”), this fellow also made a name for himself as Boyd Crowder on “Justified” from 2010 to 2015.

In the third season of the show, a free-spirited character named Chelsea, portrayed by an English actress, joins the cast. She enters into an age-gap romance with Rick Hatchett, played by Goggins. However, she is most recognized for her role as Aimee Gibbs on Netflix’s Sex Education , and previously appeared in both Seize Them! and Daddy Issues.

In the upcoming third season of the series, a new character named Chelsea (played by an English actress) will be joining the cast. She’ll be in a romantic relationship with Rick Hatchett, portrayed by Goggins. Despite this, she is well-known for her roles in Netflix’s Sex Education , as Aimee Gibbs, and in other productions like Seize Them! and Daddy Issues.)

For over five decades, her acting career can be traced back to the role of Grounded God in 1975; however, more recently, she has appeared as Prani Chiraanan in the series In Family We Trust, which was released in 2018.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but marvel at this remarkable figure who once served our country in uniform, yet also graced the silver screen with his captivating presence. He starred in films like “Mechanic: Resurrection”, “Skin Trade”, and “Paradox”. His small-screen charm was equally mesmerizing as he portrayed Pao on the TV series “Farang”.

If you didn’t manage to identify the German actor within 13 minutes, let me jog your memory. He starred as Rudolf Höss in “The Zone of Interest,” Reinhold Gräf in “Babylon Berlin,” and Georg Elser in “13 Minutes.
