7 Coronation Street spoilers next week

1. Leanne Battersby seeks justice against Rowan Cunliffe – and revenge on Toyah Habeeb!

At the trial, the air is thick with tension as Rowan’s lawyer grills Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) alongside Leanne and Nick Tilsley (Ben Price).

But when Leanne catches Rowan sharing a smug grin, she loses her temper and the court is adjourned.

We’re left wondering if Leanne has scuppered her chances of taking Rowan down.

How does the fate of Rowan unfold, given that he’s associated with The Institute and has a cult following? Will Leanne and Amy witness him face the consequences of his actions due to this connection?

Afterward, Leanne intends to reach out to her former partner, Nick, proposing a get-together over drinks. It remains to be seen if Nick will accept this invitation. Meanwhile, Leanne discovers Toyah’s passport and uploads the picture page from it onto an online platform!

Inside the apartment, Leanne is casually observing as Nick attempts to repair the holiday lights. Later, at Les’s will reading, Nick offers comfort to Leanne while Toyah looks on.

I’m expressing this scenario from an admirer’s perspective: Nick deceives Leanne, telling her that the school won’t allow him to bring Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) on holiday, leaving him to go alone. However, when Toyah shares her vacation dates with Leanne, Leanne realizes that her own holiday overlaps with Nick’s.

Leanne replaces Toyah’s passport and opens an email confirming a new bank account in Toyah’s name!

While Leanne is making arrangements for Les’s memorial service at the Bistro, Nick shares his plans for a solo vacation. Later, following the funeral, Nick offers Leanne a reassuring embrace. Unbeknownst to Nick, Leanne goes ahead and organizes for Sam to accompany him on his holiday instead.

Will it become apparent that Leanne’s schemes have been uncovered, or will she choose to address the ongoing deceit from her ex and sister?

2. Les Battersby’s will reading leads to questions over his death

In a recent revelation, actor Sam Robertson’s character, Adam Barlow, disclosed that the slaughterhouse where Les previously worked is offering a compensation sum of £50,000 following his unfortunate demise.

But this is only on the condition of signing an NDA (Non-disclosure agreement)!

Following a particularly challenging week where Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove)’s tires were punctured, she advises Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) to delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding Les’s demise, as there appears to be something suspicious about his passing.

Is the abattoir hiding something? Will Ches decide to investigate?

3. Shona Platt admits big mistake after dramatic prison row

When I accompanied Shona to meet the prison governor, he shared some intriguing news. Apparently, her son, Clayton Hibbs, had submitted two visiting requests earlier, and it seemed someone had actually visited him in prison.

The governor refuses to disclose who this was, and a guilty David ushers Shona out.

However, Shona feels uneasy and inquires from David whether he could have been the unidentified guest. Can David manage to explain his presence without raising further suspicion?

Later on, David confesses to Max Turner (Paddy Bever) that he seized the visiting permits and paid a visit to Clayton, yet he emphasizes that Shona should remain unaware of this fact.

Shona makes a determined move and hops into Steve McDonald’s taxi, instructing him to drive somewhere without revealing anything to anyone else.

As I recount my recent experiences, I share with Max that I was the one who escorted Shona to the very walls of this imposing institution. With a shared sense of urgency, we embark on a journey to this prison, hoping to locate Shona amidst the crowd, face-to-face with the governor.

As the disagreement intensifies, Shona becomes enraged and pushes the governor. With concern for Shona’s wellbeing, will Max reveal the whole truth to her?

Later on, Shona finds herself back home in a taxi driven by Steve, yet she decides to head back into town instead, asking Steve to do the driving for her this time.

The next day, Shona doesn’t come home, and David is hoping to locate her at her job at the café; however, she isn’t present there as well.

Upon Shona’s return, she shares with Roy Cropper (David Neilson) that she has acted on something she now deeply mourns.

Is she referring to the incident at the prison, or has something else happened?

4. Bethany Platt lies about her stoma surgery amid new shock

Struggling to come to terms with being fitted with a stoma bag, Bethany attends her support group.

However, it doesn’t take long for it to become apparent that she has deceived Dawn, who is the group leader, regarding the surgical procedure she underwent that led to her having a permanent stoma. Will she choose to come clean?

Sarah Platt, portrayed by Tina O’Brien, shares with Bethany an article from the news detailing that the same Turkish clinic where she had her liposuction treatment has reportedly made another error in a similar procedure.

On the following day, Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney), with a beaming smile, displays her freshly acquired convertible. However, her demeanor shifts dramatically once Bethany discloses that she intends to file a lawsuit against the Turkish clinic due to another surgical mishap.

Adam suggests that Bethany and Sarah should ask for reparation from the clinic’s director, who resides in the United Kingdom, for their grievances.

When Adam reveals the name of said director, they are shocked. Who is it?

If you’ve been moved by Bethany’s story, I encourage you to seek support from Colostomy UK. They are always ready to assist, and you can reach them anytime on their 24-hour helpline at 0800 328 4257.

5. Alya Nazir makes Adam Barlow discovery on their date

During our midday meal, I confess to Alya my strong feelings for her. Yet, as I step away to the restroom, my phone buzzes with an alert from a dating platform. Will Alya bring up this unexpected revelation when I return?

The two have been nurturing a romance that’s been developing gradually, as of late, Alya has come back from a business trip in Dublin.

With feelings still lingering, could it be love? Or is Adam still on the market?

6. Daisy Midgeley is unimpressed with Kit Green

In a friendly and playful manner, Jacob Roberts, known as Kit Green, assists Daisy in placing the fairy ornament on the Christmas tree and proposes a date, hinting at flirting subtly.

However, as Max was heading to the Bistro, he confronted Kit over the fact that Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton), Kit’s former grooming victim who had turned into a murderer, was spending her birthday in prison.

Daisy is unimpressed when Kit shows no sympathy – will she cut their date short?

Throughout the week’s progression, Daisy shares with Kit that his approach towards Max left her feeling let down, and she expresses her opinion that he could have shown more understanding and compassion instead.

Will the pair be able to move past this?

7. Gail Rodwell and Jesse Chadwick make plans for their future

In the Rovers, Gail and Jesse discuss what they should do with the money from his house sale.

Viewers know that Gail is about to leave the street she’s lived on for the past 50 years, a place she calls home.

After suffering a heart attack, Gail proposed to Jesse, but they haven’t been seen much since then.

Will it be happy ever after for Gail?
