As a seasoned soap opera enthusiast who’s seen more twists and turns than a roller coaster, I must say this upcoming week on Emmerdale promises to be another thrilling ride! The torment of Will by a blackmailer, the continued misery of Belle at the hands of Tom, and the mysterious disappearance of Frankie – it’s all too much for one small village!
There’s another dramatic week coming on Emmerdale, with Will (Dean Andrews) finding himself at the hands of a blackmailer.
1. The shock of discovering a deep-faked video left him dazed, while an unknown individual was demanding a significant sum – who is orchestrating this distress?
Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is in for another difficult week, as she encounters trouble again from the malevolent Tom.
Plus, the ITV soap will air a special, stylised episode to show just what Belle’s going through.
Let’s dive right in! Here are the suspenseful Emmerdale spoilers for the week of Monday 2nd to Friday 6th September 2024.
1. Is Rose tormenting Will?
Will is in full belief that the only person who could possibly be tormenting him is Rose, and he decides to take matters into his own hands and call the mysterious number.
Will is furious, understandably, and tells the person on the phone to do one. But he is left shocked when he sees a video of Rose in Ibiza, and when he clocks he didn’t get an international dialling tone when he called the number, he concludes Rose can’t be his tormenter.
2. Will is blackmailed
Jimmy and Will were puzzled about who might be causing trouble for him, so they brainstormed together to figure out who could possibly be doing such a thing to him.
However, within a short time, Jimmy receives an email on his work account that contains manipulated explicit pictures suggesting a compromising situation between Will and Rose.
Will’s desperate to keep it from Kim – until a deep-fake video lands on his phone and it becomes clear it’s not a one-off. Furthermore, the blackmailer wants £10k to keep his indiscretions with Rose a secret… will he pay up?
3. Tom continues to torment Belle
To begin the week, Belle encounters an unwelcome situation when her request for information under Clare’s Law fails, meaning she won’t receive any details about Tom.
From his camera view, Tom feels elated and excited seeing her in trouble. Overconfident, he makes a remark that tips off Belle about his ability to read her emails. However, when he hints at compromising photos he could reveal, Belle stands still with shock.
Later on, I choose to counter his tactics by attempting to outwit him and seize his tablet. This action inevitably results in a face-off between us at The Woolpack. However, the question remains: Will anybody lend me their ear in this matter?
4. Tom starts a new romance
As her week goes from bad to worse, Belle is horrified to discover that Tom started a relationship with Amelia, leaving Belle and Lydia incredulous.
Straightaway, concerned Belle frets over Amelia’s wellbeing, and upon finding Tom secretly in her apartment, she voices her disapproval of his actions and implores him to stay away from little Amelia.
5. Belle imagines a terrifying future
On the 5th of September, an artistic episode focused on the character Belle will be broadcasted on Emmerdale. In this episode, Belle will ponder about various possibilities for her upcoming life.
Ahead of the ensuing episode, viewers will listen to Tom making a threatening statement towards Belle, assuring her that he won’t ever let go of her. The subsequent day, Belle appears to be under a spell as she comes to understand the chilling implications of those ominous words.
Will her nightmare prompt her to take action against the villain?
6. Moira and Ruby clash
Moira observes Ruby joking around with Cain, and a surge of jealousy sweeps through her as she watches him affectionately touch his arm. Without hesitation, she storms into Mill Cottage and confronts Ruby, accusing her of attempting to snatch her partner, leaving her utterly bewildered.
In a matter of moments, the situation intensifies dramatically, with Moira abruptly head-butting Ruby. As Cain enters at this very instant, he immediately takes Moira away to the Butlers, inquiring about her sudden change of behavior. It doesn’t take him long to realize that she hasn’t undergone her required blood tests yet.
What’s wrong with Moira? And how much more erratic will she get?
7. Frankie goes missing
Nate openly admits to Mack that he’s received an employment opportunity in Scotland. He has exactly 24 hours to contemplate if he should gather his belongings and depart immediately or not.
In a state of conflict, he chooses to disclose the recent events to Tracy. However, when she keeps her true emotions hidden, he grows agitated.
The situation deteriorates even further as it becomes clear that Frankie is nowhere to be found. As Tracy contacts the authorities regarding her missing child, there’s growing concern over whether they can locate her before a tragic event unfolds.
