This boy has met a whole new side of himself on The Masked Singer.

On the April 16 episode of the Fox singing competition show, a former ’90s teen idol was removed from the contest, yet he managed to convince both himself and spectators of his remarkable singing abilities before his departure.

The actor, disguised as Paparazzo in season 13, confessed that if someone had predicted he’d be here after singing for the first time, he would have thought them insane because he’s never sung before. He added, “This upcoming song is the most significant hint about my identity so far.” (Big spoiler alert!)

Prior to unveiling his tune, Paparazzo subtly hinted at his real persona by featuring Daniele Fishel, an actor known for her role as Topanga on the classic ’90s sitcom Boy Meets World, in a cameo.

The mystery celebrity then hit the stage and belted out a cover of TLC‘s hit “Unpretty.”

Later on, the judges were given thirty seconds to pose a sequence of questions to Paparazzo, with the most revealing one being whether he had ever appeared on a popular television program. To this, he replied casually, “Absolutely, yes!

When it came to the star’s final hint of the night, he unveiled a picture of lizards.

Regarding the guesses, Rita Ora was convinced it was Jason Ritter, Fishel’s co-star from “Gravity Falls”, while Ken Jeong chose Ben Savage from “Boy Meets World”. On the other hand, Robin Thicke opted for a different choice, Frankie Muniz.

However, only Jenny McCarthy identified the correct answer as Matthew Lawrence, who is renowned for his role in ‘Boy Meets World’ and popular ’90s movies such as ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’.

It turned out that when he made his appearance, it was evident that the 45-year-old’s song selection was a tribute to his longtime girlfriend, Rozonda Thomas, better known as Chilli, who has been with him for more than two years and is part of the group TLC.

Lawrence admitted, upon revealing his participation in the contest, that it was partly due to a personal fear of his own. However, the opportunity to sing and hide behind that anonymity was extremely appealing to him.

He added, “It was a great experience. It was awesome.”

In simpler terms, “Candace Cameron Bure”, who is known for her role in “Full House”, was revealed to be the celebrity under the disguise of ‘the bloom’ after their appearance in Group C.

The studly snack was none other than hip-hop legend Method Man.

Being a Yorkie can be quite costly, as it turns out, due to the famous reality TV star and singer, Erika Jayne from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” being the one in the furry suit.

Behind that Paparazzo disguise hid none other than the beloved actor from the ’90s, famous for his roles in shows like “Boy Meets World” and “Mrs. Doubtfire”, Matthew Lawrence!
