On August 1, 2025, Robert Zemeckis’s animated fantasy action film adaptation of the classic poem Beowulf, written by Neil Gaiman and Roger Avary, began streaming for free on Pluto TV. The movie, which features a stellar cast including Ray Winstone as Beowulf, mighty warrior on a perilous quest to defeat the monster Grendel (portrayed by Crispin Glover), starts off with Grendel menacing Denmark, but things take a turn when he angers Grendel’s mother, played by Angelina Jolie. Additional stars in this production are Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich, Brendan Gleeson, Robin Wright, and Alison Lohman.

As a girl who spent my childhood years immersed in video games, it was always thrilling to discover titles where I could embody a female character, after spending years as Mario or Link. Nowadays, there’s an abundance of remarkable female protagonists in renowned gaming series, and I’m delighted to see them being celebrated. Here’s a list featuring the top female leads in video games; it showcases both resilient, well-crafted women and trailblazers who set the precedent for strong female characters in this medium.

In contrast to other movies, Stark technology is absent in Thunderbolts, yet it retains a hint of Stark’s influence. The previous Stark Tower, later known as the Avengers Tower, is now called the Watchtower and is owned by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. This Watchtower houses the New Avengers team, setting up events for Avengers: Doomsday. In this sequel, Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but as Doctor Doom instead of Iron Man. He’ll interact with several Thunderbolts characters and may discover a similarity between Tony Stark and one of them – Yelena Belova.

Title “The Exciting Echoes of Fantastic Four” has been enjoyable and entertaining so far. Given the series’ triumph, we’re eager for additional characters who could benefit from a similar spotlight. Here are five potential candidates we believe should receive the “Fanfare” treatment in the future:

The animated film titled “Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle,” a continuation of Demon Slayer, is arriving in US cinemas this September. This installment promises some of the most intense battles fans have encountered thus far. The Hashiras have penetrated the Infinity Castle and engage Muzan head-on. To vanquish Muzan and the higher-ranking demons, they’ll rely heavily on their resources. However, it seems the breathing techniques might be best kept aside for now.

The portrayal of Smart Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been relatively dull, as one might say. However, the upcoming film Spider-Man: Fresh Start could potentially bring about a transformation for this character, possibly reinstating his fierce persona and causing troubles for Spider-Man. This leaves us pondering over other projects that may have benefited from Hulk’s presence. Here are three MCU movies that might have been enhanced with the addition of the Hulk to the storyline.
