Inuyasha Creator’s New Anime Reveals Major Update

Manga creator Takahashi launched a new series called Mao in 2019. Unlike her previous work, Inuyasha, Mao centers around a character who battles spirits instead of demons. The upcoming anime adaptation will be produced by the same studio behind Inuyasha, Sunrise. A new poster for the series has been released, along with news about the opening theme song. The song “HEATLOUD” by Kis-My-Ft2 will play during the opening credits. This isn’t the first time the boy band has contributed to anime; they’ve previously worked on Doraemon and Cardfight!!
