Netflix’s Rebel Moon Is the Anti-Star Wars Franchise

Zack Snyder originally envisioned his film Rebel Moon, made with Netflix, as part of the Star Wars universe, imagining a different corner of that galaxy. Even after becoming a standalone project, the influence of Star Wars remained strong, drawing inspiration from the same films that inspired George Lucas. However, Rebel Moon differs significantly in tone; Snyder’s films are much darker and more mature than the family-friendly adventures Lucasfilm created.

It’s Officially The End Of An Era For Robert Pattinson’s The Batman

In 2025, The Penguin unexpectedly won nine Primetime Emmy Awards from 24 nominations – a huge success for a show that started as a spin-off of a superhero series. Everyone expected this success to boost The Batman‘s next movie, but things didn’t quite work out that way. The Batman Part II was initially planned for release in October 2025, but it was first moved to October 2026, and then delayed again. Now, the movie is scheduled to come out on October 1, 2027 – over five and a half years after Robert Pattinson first played Batman.

A Danish TV station, TV 2, reported the same sales figures and pointed out that the game’s development costs are higher than pretty much any other entertainment project in Denmark – that’s incredible!

5 Stephen King Books Better Than Carrie

Stephen King’s 200-page sci-fi horror novel, Carrie, has been adapted for the screen several times, most famously as a 1976 film directed by Brian De Palma. Sissy Spacek and Piper Laurie, who played Carrie and her mother Margaret, both received Academy Award nominations for their performances. Despite its adaptations, Carrie isn’t considered one of Stephen King’s strongest works, considering he’s written over 65 novels.
