As a longtime fan of Doctor Who, I’m absolutely thrilled to hear that Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill are returning for more adventures with the Thirteenth Doctor and Yaz at Big Finish! I’ve been a devoted viewer since the show’s revival in 2005, and their dynamic duo was one of my favorite pairings.
Jodie Whittaker will once again take on the role of The Doctor in “Doctor Who: The Thirteenth Doctor Adventures” by Big Finish Audio. This series consists of 12 full-length, hour-long audio stories, set to release starting in July 2025. Jodie Whittaker portrayed The Doctor on BBC’s “Doctor Who” for three consecutive seasons from 2017 to 2022. Mandip Gill, who played the companion Yaz, was a constant presence throughout these seasons and appeared in every televised adventure with The Doctor until her final one.
