CBS Reveals Return Dates for FBI, Ghosts, SWAT, and More

I’m thrilled about the upcoming Fall 2024 TV season on CBS! With so many fan-favorite franchises returning, such as FBI, Ghosts, NCIS, Survivor, and Tracker, I can hardly contain my excitement. And new additions like Matlock and Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage sound intriguing too!


Starting this fall, CBS has announced the premiere dates for its new and returning shows. Among the returning franchises are FBI, Ghosts, NCIS, Survivor, and Tracker. The FBI series, consisting of FBI, FBI: International, and FBI: Most Wanted, will be back on October 15th. Ghosts, a popular supernatural comedy, will begin its fourth season on October 17th. Making a comeback after a long wait is Matlock, which is set to premiere on October 10th. (Source: TV Line)

A Full Slate

CBS’ new TV lineup commences with Survivor’s Season 47 debut, featuring a double-premiere on Wednesday, September 18th. Matlock joins the scene on Sunday, September 22nd, followed by The Summit’s series premiere on September 29th. An additional Matlock premiere showing is scheduled for Thursday, October 10th. The following week marks a busy schedule with numerous premieres.

I’m thrilled to share that starting Monday, October 14th, NCIS returns for its 22nd season with a special treat – the series premiere of NCIS: Origins following it. On Tuesday, October 15th, get ready for an FBI-packed night as FBI (season 7), FBI: International (season 4), and FBI: Most Wanted (season 6) make their debuts. The excitement continues on Thursday, October 17th, with the series premiere of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage kicking off the evening, followed by the season 4 premiere of Ghosts, the second episode of Matlock, and the season 2 premiere of Elsbeth. As a dedicated gamer, I’d rephrase it like this: On Sunday, the 22nd of September: At 7 pm, I’ll be tuning in for the season premiere of 60 Minutes, which is part of my weekly routine. At an unusual hour for me, 8 pm, I’m also excited to check out the series premiere of Matlock. It’s going to be an intriguing night of television!

As a dedicated gamer, I’m always on the lookout for my next entertainment fix. Here’s how I would put it: Friday, Oct. 18, I’ll be counting down the hours until 8 pm for the new season premiere of S.W.A.T. And at 9 pm, I can’t wait to dive into Fire Country’s third season opening. Last but not least, at 10 pm, I’ll be settling in for the final episodes of Blue Bloods, with the first of the remaining eight installments kicking things off.

On Sunday, October 27th, I’m looking forward to the NFL doubleheader coming to a close. At 7:30 pm ET and 7 pm PT, I’ll be tuning in for “60 Minutes.” Later, at 8:30 pm ET and 8 pm PT, it’s time for the second season premiere of “Tracker.” And finally, at 9:30 pm ET and 9 pm PT, I can’t wait to watch the fifth season premiere of “The Equalizer.”
