Alien: Romulus Popcorn Buckets Will Haunt Your Nightmares

As a gamer with a soft spot for movie merchandise, I’m absolutely thrilled about these new popcorn buckets for “Alien: Romulus“! The horror genre is one of my favorites, and the level of detail and creativity put into these designs is impressive. The Facehugger and Xeneomorph buckets from Fandango and Regal Cinemas, respectively, are sure to add an extra layer of excitement to the moviegoing experience.

Recently, the cinema experience has been more engaging due to intricately designed popcorn containers. Although novelty buckets have existed for some time, AMC Theatres’ sandworm bucket for “Dune: Part Two” created a significant buzz this year, leading to a humorous SNL skit. Now, other films are attempting to surpass the design, and they’re only getting more bizarre. We’ve just caught a sneak peek at two new popcorn containers for “Alien: Resurrection,” set to hit theaters soon. Fandango unveiled a chilling Facehugger design, while Regal Cinemas introduced a terrifying Xenomorph container.

Here’s a preview of the #AlienRomulus popcorn bucket from Fandango! Secure your movie tickets now and prepare for this terrifyingly collectible addition to Regal cinemas. Check out the two chilling designs below:

As a big fan of unique and well-designed items, I can’t help but be intrigued by the structural brilliance and collectability of this upcoming Regal popcorn bucket, which supposedly resembles the terrifying Alien Romulus.

AMC Exec Reacts to Dune Popcorn Bucket Backlash:

Alien: Romulus Popcorn Buckets Will Haunt Your Nightmares

In a recent interview with Variety, Elizabeth Frank, the Chief Content Officer of AMC Networks, discussed the reaction to the delayed release of “Dune: Part Two”.

Frank acknowledged that the unexpected success of “Dune” came as a surprise to them. We could have never anticipated or engineered this reaction, whether it be admiration or criticism, he stated. Agreeing with the question posed, she commented, “Yes, it feels validating.” It’s not within our power to manufacture such recognition; it wouldn’t be right to take our creative team out of their work for it.

A portion of our fanbase can be categorized as collectors. Among film enthusiasts, there exists a segment that avidly acquires at least three distinct merchandise items related to “Ghostbusters”. This blend is significant for our food and beverage sector, although it doesn’t dominate the business. It adds an element of enjoyment, making the movie experience more complete. As she put it, “It’s like bringing home a souvenir from a concert.” There’s a palpable excitement and creativity in this pursuit.

What Is Alien: Romulus About?

Alien: Romulus Popcorn Buckets Will Haunt Your Nightmares

As a passionate gamer and an avid fan of the Alien franchise, I’m excited to share that “Alien: Romulus” is marketed as more of a spin-off than a direct follow-up to the original series. In this new adventure, I’ll be stepping into the shoes of a brave group of young space colonizers. Prepare for heart-stopping encounters as we come face-to-face with the most dreadful life form in the universe – the Xenomorphs!

Cailee Spaeny, known for her role in “Priscilla,” stars in “Alien: Resurrection” alongside David Jonsson from “Agatha Christie’s Murder is Easy.” Archie Renaux, famous for his part in “Shadow and Bone,” and Isabela Merced, recognized for her performance in “The Last of Us,” also feature in the cast. Spike Fearn, best known for acting in “Aftersun,” and Aileen Wu join them. Fede Jovaniez (“Evil Dead,” “Don’t Breathe”) directs this production, with a screenplay he co-wrote with Rodo Sayagues based on characters created by Dan O’Bannon and Ronald Shusett.

Alien: Romulus hits theaters on August 16th.
