As a die-hard fan of Given, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and sadness as we approach the release of the final movie, Given: To The Sea. Having followed this beautiful BL drama since its inception in 2013, I’ve grown incredibly attached to the characters and their heartwarming musical journey.

The end seems to be near for Given, as we’ve been announced with the upcoming final movie. Back in January, fans were delighted with a new addition to the series in the form of Given: Hiiragi Mix, which was released in Japan. Now, we have a sneak peek into what’s to come with the trailer of the last Given movie on its way.

I’ve just watched the trailer for “Given: To The Sea,” and let me tell you, it’s a rollercoaster ride! The way they’ve brought our beloved musicians to life in this clip is simply breathtaking. As Mafuyu grapples with his past, Ritsuka stays by his side, ready for whatever comes next. Their bandmates join them, and together they face trials like never before. But given who we’re dealing with here – Given – I know they won’t back down without a fight!

Studio Lerche is in charge of producing this film, and it intends to bring the remaining parts of Netsuki Kiss’s BL manga to the big screen. Since the series ended in March 2023 with an enticing time leap, fans have been eagerly anticipating seeing that transition unfold.
