As a dedicated gamer and longtime fan of The Walking Dead Universe, I couldn’t be more excited for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con! The announcement that not one but two panels for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and The Walking Dead: Carol Peletier have been added to the lineup is simply thrilling.
Following visits to France and New York, the “The Walking Dead” universe is back in San Diego. AMC Networks have revealed that two spin-offs, “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol” and “The Walking Dead: Dead City,” will make an appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego’s Hall H. Stars Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are scheduled to attend. According to the SDCC schedule, there will be back-to-back panels led by “Talking Dead” host Chris Hardwick, along with new trailers and a sneak peek of season 2 for “Daryl Dixon,” which is set to air on AMC starting September 29th.

On Friday, July 26th, between 1:45 and 2:45 p.m., Hall H will host “The Walking Dead: Dead City” panel, featuring stars and executive producers Cohan and Morgan, showrunner Eli Jorn, and actors Gaius Charles and ?eljko Ivanek. Following this, from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m., the “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol” panel will take place, with stars and executive producers Reedus and McBride, showrunner David Zabel, executive producer and director Greg Nicotero, and cast member Louis Puech Scigliuzzi in attendance.

After completing filming for Season 2, this panel will offer a sneak peek at the upcoming season, airing next year. Join us as we discuss the latest developments with key contributors such as Scott M. Gimple, Chief Content Officer of the Walking Dead Universe, Showrunner and Executive Producer Eli Jorn, Executive Producers and stars Norman Reedus (Daryl) and Melissa McBride (Carol), and cast members Gaius Charles and Željko Ivanek. The session will be facilitated by Chris Hardwick.
The Daryl Dixon and Carol Panel for The Walking Dead: A Behind-the-Scenes Look on Friday, July 26, 3:00-4:00pm, Hall H
In the upcoming season, the story continues from where “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” ended, focusing on beloved characters Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride). They grapple with past hauntings as Carol searches for her friend and Daryl ponders whether to remain in France. This internal conflict creates friction within their community, known as the Nest. Meanwhile, Genet’s (Anne Charrier) actions gain strength, propelling Pouvoir towards a violent confrontation with the Union of Hope over the fate of France.
At this panel, you’ll find Gimple, who is both the showrunner and executive producer. Additionally, David Zabel serves as an executive producer and director. Greg Nicotero is an executive producer and director. Reedus and McBride are stars and executive producers. Lastly, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi is a cast member. The panel will unveil the new season’s trailer during the event, airing September 29 at 9pm ET on AMC and AMC+, with Hardwick as the moderator.
On Friday, July 26th, from 7 to 9 p.m. Pacific Time, following the panel, there will be an early Comic-Con showing of “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol” premiere at Rooftop Cinema Club Embarcadero.
The “Walking Dead” sessions continue after the “Snowpiercer” final season panel on July 26th, from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm in Ballroom 20. During this time, Daveed Diggs, Mickey Sumner, Mike O’Malley, and executive producers Paul Zbyszewski and Christoph Schrewe will be present for an exclusive sneak peek of a new “Snowpiercer” season 4 episode.
Announcement was made for a combined 75-minute panel (Saturday, July 27th, 5:00-6:15pm, Ballroom 20) for Anne Rice’s “Interview with the Vampire” and “Mayfair Witches” series. The event will feature Mark Johnson, showrunner and executive producer of “Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe,” Rolin Jones, production designer Mara LePere-Schoop, and cast members Sam Reid, Assad Zaman, and Delainey Hayles. They will discuss season 2 and give a sneak peek into the upcoming third season of “Interview with the Vampire.” Johnson will then continue for the “Mayfair Witches” panel alongside showrunner Esta Spalding and cast members Alexandra Daddario, Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa, Jack Huston, Ben Feldman, and Alyssa Jirrels.
