Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta Dates Announced

As a die-hard Call of Duty fan with years of gaming experience under my belt, I’m thrilled to share my thoughts on this year’s beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. For me, the beta is an essential part of the pre-release hype and anticipation that comes with each new installment in the franchise.

As an excited fan, I can’t wait for Activision to unveil the beta timing for Call of Duty: Black Oops 6! In the past, around a month before every new Call of Duty title hits the shelves, Activision hosts a beta phase where we get a sneak peek at the multiplayer features. This year will be no exception with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, but there are some adjustments to how this year’s beta will unfold for players.

From the 30th of August to the 4th of September, the first phase of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta will occur on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. This early access period is exclusive for those who have previously ordered the game. A week later, from the 6th to the 9th of September, Activision will extend the beta to all interested individuals.

In contrast to past years, PlayStation users won’t get priority access to the beta weekend for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” this time around. Previously, Sony had exclusive beta deals for Call of Duty games, allowing only PS5 and PS4 users to test out the new entries before others. However, with Activision and its flagship franchise now under Microsoft’s ownership, it appears that PlayStation-only beta weekends for the first testing phase have come to an end.

As a longtime fan of the Call of Duty series, particularly the Black Ops installments, I’m beyond excited for the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. October 25, 2024, can’t come soon enough! I’ll be getting this game on my PlayStation 5, but I know my friends will also be playing it on their PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
