Oni Press has given ComicBook an exclusive preview of a fresh licensing agreement they’ve struck with Maestro Media, a prominent board game publisher. Starting today, the two companies will unveil their new partnership, which includes creating three board games inspired by beloved comic book series from Oni Press. The collaboration will result in the production of games based on “The Sixth Gun” by Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt, “Dwellings” by Jay Stephens, and “Jill and the Killers” by Olivia Cuartero-Briggs and Roberta Ingranata.
Before Comic Con International in San Diego, the anticipated announcement is made as both companies prepare to showcase their collaborative plans for a new gaming partnership. The games under development are done so in close collaboration with the creators of each respective title, and the initial games birthed from this partnership are scheduled for release in 2025.
