Jujutsu Kaisen Creator Has Jason Statham to Thank for Toji Fushiguro

As a die-hard fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and sadness as we approach the final arc of this incredible shonen series. Creator Gege Akutami has confirmed that this will indeed be the last arc, but thankfully, it doesn’t mean the end for Jujutsu Tech.

As a longtime fan of shonen manga and anime, I’m feeling a mix of emotions as I read about the upcoming conclusion of “Jujutsu Kaisen.” Having followed Yuji Itadori’s adventures since the series began, it’s bittersweet to know that this will be the last arc. But, based on Gege Akutami’s reputation for delivering thrilling stories, I’m confident that it will be a satisfying end.

As a big fan of the anime “Jujutsu Kaisen,” I can’t help but be intrigued by the complex backstory of Toji Fushiguro. Unlike many other powerful characters in this world, he doesn’t possess any special abilities himself. Yet, his impact on the series is undeniably significant.

Jason Fushiguro x Toji Statham

As a big fan of Jujutsu Kaisen who attended the recent exhibition, I was thrilled to hear Gege Akutami confirm that he drew inspiration from Jason Statham for the character design of Toji Fushiguro. With an impressive resume in Hollywood, Statham has starred in numerous action-packed movies over the years. Some of his most notable roles include those in Meg, The Expendables franchise, Fast & The Furious series, Crank, and Transporter. More recently, he added The Beekeeper to his list of films.

At present, the manga of “Jujutsu Kaisen” is approaching its conclusion, but the anime adaptation has yet to catch up. Fortunately, it was announced that a third season is on the way from MAPPA, focusing on the “Culling Game Arc,” an event initiated by the villainous Suguru Geto in the final episode of “Jujutsu Kaisen’s” second season. With numerous users of cursed energy participating in a gruesome battle royale, the third season could potentially surpass the previous seasons in scale.
