Katey Sagal and Son Jackson White Mourn Death of His Dad Jack White

As a dedicated fan of the entertainment industry, I have had the privilege of following the lives and careers of many talented individuals. Among them is Jackson White, the rising star of “Tell Me Lies,” whose father, Jack White, tragically passed away at the age of 70 this July.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jack White, the father of my dear friend and renowned actor, Jack Olan Soule. I had the pleasure of knowing Jack from his marriage to Katey Sagal, which lasted from 1993 to 2000. He lived a rich and full life, reaching the age of 70. My heart goes out to Jack’s family and friends during this difficult time as we remember the wonderful moments we shared with him. Rest in peace, Jack White. Your legacy will live on through your loved ones and the impact you had on their lives.

The drummer’s cause of death has not been revealed.

In an Instagram post featuring images of his family and a video of Jack drumming, Jackson expressed, “Jack taught me so much. Our relationship wasn’t always smooth sailing, but in the end, it was all about love.”

I’m a lifestyle expert and I’d like to share a personal story. At 28, I noticed something significant: my father, not to be mistaken for the renowned Jack White of the White Stripes band, is now free from pain.

“Jackson described him as an open and honest person, a brave soul, the most amusing individual my sister and I had come across, and the creator of the loudest, most potent rhythm beats among all drummers I have encountered.”

Katey, who acted alongside their son on “Tell Me Lies,” and Jack are parents to Sarah Grace White, a 29-year-old daughter.

“Jack was an open and fearless person, a comedian with an unmatched sense of humor that my sister and I found hysterical, and the creator of the most thunderous and powerful drum beats I’ve ever witnessed. He is no longer experiencing any pain now.”

“He was my dad, standing at 6 feet 4 inches tall, always wearing a denim shirt and carrying a Starbucks muffin with him, driving us around and sharing his vast musical knowledge. Every day, I slip into his shoes, not just metaphorically, but literally wearing his cool footwear. Jack White, born in 1954, will forever hold a special place in my heart.”

Jack White, who was previously married to the actor from “Married… With Children,” and is the father of that actor, has passed away at the age of 70. The specific cause of his death has not been made public.

In her 2017 memoir “Grace Notes: My Recollections,” Katey described how she and Jack had their first child, Sarah, on their wedding night in 1993. Four years after their divorce in 2004, Katey wed Kurt Sutter, the creator of “Sons of Anarchy.” The couple is now parents to a seventeen-year-old daughter named Esmé.

Katey’s older daughter Sarah also posted a tribute to Jack after his death. “My dad. Huge, wild soul,” the singer wrote on Instagram. “The loudest, tallest guy in the room, arms outstretched, singing, smiling, drumming on his dashboard, riding his motorcycle 100 miles in the mud and snow, hitchhiking across the country and telling us all about it.”

Katey, who is mother to 29-year-old Sarah Grace White together with her former spouse, expressed her sorrow too.

The “Married… With Children” alum expressed, “Jackson and Sarah, you two are lovely. I’ll forever be thankful to your father for bringing you into existence, Jack. At last, I’m freed.”

In the year 2000, Jack ended his ninety-three relationship with his renowned colleagues, Rick Springfield and Tina Turner.

In 1991, before the arrival of Jackson and Sarah, the actress was pregnant with her first child with Jack, and this pregnancy was included in “Married… With Children.” Sadly, their baby girl, named Ruby, was born stillborn when Katey was seven months pregnant. Later, Peg Bundy’s pregnancy on the show was depicted as a dream.

As a seasoned writer and someone who has had the privilege of observing and learning from various individuals throughout my life, I find Sarah’s tribute to her father, Jack, both poignant and evocative. Her description of her dad as a “huge, wild soul” resonates with me deeply, as I have known many people in my life who possess similar qualities.

In her heartfelt remembrance, Sarah shared how her father used to play music loudly in the car with the windows open as they drove. She expressed her gratitude for his love, acknowledging that it is the most valuable thing. “Rest in peace, Jack White (1954-2024). May his spirit continue to rock on. He always wanted to say ‘thank you for the girls and the wealth.’ I love you endlessly.”

Growing up in Nashville, I was fortunate enough to have a father who brought joy and energy into our mornings. Every day, without fail, he would wake us up with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the house, accompanied by the best tunes the world had to offer. The sound of his car horn honking outside would follow, a signal for my brother and me to get ready for our dad’s weekend visits. His laughter would echo through the air as he picked us up, and we couldn’t help but smile at the sight of him waving goodbye until we reached the front door. That was just a normal part of our childhood – the anticipation, the excitement, and the unwavering presence of my amazing father. Even now, thinking back on those memories brings a warmth to my heart.

I can’t help but remember the joyous moments my father instilled in me during our car rides, blasting music through the speakers with the windows rolled down, letting every melody wash over us.

She added, “I’m grateful for your love, too.” It seems that love is the most valuable thing. Jack White, 1954-2024. He wished to express his thanks ‘for the girls and the wealth.’ Keep rocking, father. We’ll carry on your affection with us. I care for you deeply.
