I’ve been deeply moved by Asia’s inspiring journey from a young dance prodigy on reality TV to a successful model, artist, and performer. Her unwavering determination and resilience are truly commendable.

Ready to find out who will make it to the top of the pyramid this time?

The revived version of “Dance Moms,” titled “Dance Moms: A New Era,” is set to deliver more drama, quarrels, and emotional moments than the initial series which aired from 2011 to 2019. Gloria “Glo” Hampton, a previous dance mom, takes over Abby Lee Miller’s influential role as the dance instructor.

“Six more weeks and we’ll be heading to Nationals, Glo informed her dancing pupils in the July 18th Hulu series trailer. However, they were far from prepared for this competition.”

In the upcoming series “Dance Moms: A New Era,” available on Hulu starting August 7, we will meet a fresh set of dancers and their mothers at Glo’s Studio Bleu dance school. Previously, Glo made appearances in seasons three and four of the initial “Dance Moms” show alongside her daughter Kaeli Ware. Now, as the studio owner, there is a specific goal she is determined to accomplish.

“My one and only goal is the win a National title,” Glo continued. “And it starts today.”

During the performance, there’s certainly drama between Glo and her dancers. However, the most intriguing actions unfold among the new dance moms themselves. Their behavior ranges from shoving and pushing, to an intense slap followed by a defiant challenge: “Go ahead and try me!”

“Glo is no longer able to tolerate the situation and loudly expressed to the other mothers, ‘I have had enough. Don’t you see that these kids are my priority at the moment?'”

She also motivated her students by saying, “Show everyone that you’re the rising stars to watch out for,” as they prepared to perform.

Two months ago, a reunion special aired on Lifetime, bringing together several former “Dance Moms” stars such as JoJo Siwa, Chloé Lukasiak, Kendall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker, Brooke Hyland, and Paige Hyland. During the special, they reminisced about their experiences filming the show and acknowledged that they had formed strong bonds through shared challenges, which they referred to as “trauma bonding.”

“JoJo told TopMob News in April that it could be a beneficial or detrimental experience for him, but either way, he feels a strong connection to it due to its familiarity.”

Before you delve into “Dance Moms: A New Era,” take a peek at what the former cast members of “Dance Moms” have been doing lately.

For over a decade, I’ve been captivated by the raw talent of this Pennsylvania-born artist. Ever since she gracefully stole our hearts as the undisputed queen of Abby Lee Dance Company, she’s taken off like a rocket. From being a beloved muse in Sia’s electrifying music videos to snagging roles in films, her journey has been nothing short of breathtaking. I can’t help but feel proud as she shines on the silver screen in Sia’s directorial debut, “Music,” and the 2021 revival of “West Side Story.” The excitement only grows as I eagerly anticipate her appearance in the 2024 production, “My Old Ass.”

In addition, she published a New York Times bestselling memoir, titled “The Maddie Diaries,” which came out in 2017. She also evaluated new contestants on “So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation” and collaborated with her younger sister, Kenzie Ziegler, for their podcast named “Take 20 With Maddie and Kenzie.” As stated to TopMob News, they aimed to create an unguarded atmosphere and have a relaxed conversation between the two of them.

In her upcoming project, she plans to establish her own beauty brand. She expressed, “I have always wanted to create my own product line. It seems exhilarating to me, and it’s been a long-cherished dream.”

After completing her training in acrobatics, one of the singers most recent hits was the 2023 release “Anatomy.” This heartfelt song shares her deeply personal experiences with her estranged father. Speaking to People, she expressed, “I’m definitely venturing beyond my familiar territory with this single, and I’m being true to myself in a more profound way than just on social media. I’m telling my story.”

With great respect for the approximately 15 million “Dance Moms” fans who are part of her Instagram following, she delved more deeply for her third album titled “biting my tongue,” which is set to be released on July 26, 2024.

She shared with TopMob News for the first time the stories that mattered to her, expressing hope that listeners would find joy, sadness, or relatability in her experiences.

About ten years after she bid farewell to “Dance Moms” with her last performance, the award-winning dancer is eager to resume her life by dancing once more on the stage.

The author of “Girl on Pointe: Chloe’s Guide to Taking on the World,” shared her motivation for starting Elevé National Dance Competition with her mother Christi Lukasiak and the mother-daughter duo Diane and Brittany Pent. She expressed, “I deeply missed dance and yearned to reconnect with something I held dear. But I aimed to establish an alternative to my previous experiences. Something uplifting. I set out to create a platform that would rekindle my passion for dance.”

The actress has expressed her love for other things in her life, including the OG squad of Lifetime series. On Instagram in May 2023, she shared a photo and wrote, “One of my dear sisters from another mother.” (Note: “Sisters” can mean close friends, and “mother” is used figuratively to indicate origin or source.)

The original member of OG, known for her love of death drops, remains active and successful in music (releasing her single “Low Key Love” in 2020) and acting. She stars in the web series “Sunnyside Up” and features in a total of 59 episodes of “The Bold and the Beautiful”.

After completing her studies as a UCLA graduate with a degree in American Literature and Culture in June 2024, she spent her evenings working in Hollywood. During this time, she released her single “IMMA CATCH” and made it onto Variety’s 2023 Young Hollywood Impact Report.

In an interview with TopMob News back in May 2024, she shared her excitement about dedicating more time to her profession and artistic pursuits. She expressed her eagerness to explore new opportunities, such as directing, acting, and singing, and to continue performing in various ways.

Instead of “Trading in group numbers for group trips,” you could say “Instead of being just a number in a group, we went on a trip together as a group in 2023.”

Following that, she embarked on a six-day adventure through Croatia, reminiscent of the enriching European backpacking experience she had after graduating from Ohio University. She described her journey as one filled with discovery of breathtaking locales and cultures, as well as the creation of cherished friendships along the way. “It was an unforgettable journey,” she added.

While living in the United States, a Pittsburgh resident, who became engaged to account manager Brian Thalman in May 2024, utilizes her marketing degree effectively. She does this through her Bite-Sized Foodie Instagram account and by co-building the Hyland Sisters brand with her younger sister Paige.

As a four-season veteran now, I can’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment as I barely shed any tears on my pillow these days. Following my graduation from West Virginia University in May 2023 (“I’m so proud of you!!!! Congratulations,” Christi Lukasiak cheered me on), I’ve embarked on an exhilarating journey across the country. From mingling with the elite crowd in the Hamptons, to taking in the breathtaking views in Colorado, and exploring the vast landscapes of Wyoming – each stop has brought a new adventure and learning experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Paige’s most frequent travel companion, aside from her older sister Brooke, is her long-term boyfriend and ex-college football player, Jayvon Thrift. In a 2022 social media update, she expressed her deep affection for him with the words, “I adore you in every possible way.”

In July 2024, after spending five years as a couple, Paige and her partner began a new chapter by renting their first apartment. She announced their upcoming move on Instagram, stating, “An exciting new journey lies ahead.”

Currently, the James Madison University student about to enter her final year is continuing to amass awards with the victorious dance team of her college. In a September Instagram post, she expressed, “My younger self would be utterly thrilled.” Unsurprisingly, her proud dance mother, Jill Vertes, added, “I couldn’t be more proud of my daughter Kendall.”

Apart from pursuing acting roles, such as in the 2019 film “Rapunzel: A Princess Frozen in Time” and a live-action “Anastasia,” and building a singing career under the name Kendall K with multiple album releases, the newcomer to season two has also secured several sponsorship deals due to her massive Instagram following of over 11 million people.

In just two seasons of the original series, JoJo with a Bow Bow made a significant impact, becoming a standout despite her previous appearance on Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition. As a result, she gained an enormous YouTube fanbase, secured an exclusive deal with Nickelodeon, and saw the creation of numerous branded merchandise items. To top it off, she was included in Time’s list of the 100 most influential people in 2020.

She once shared with Kelly Ripa that one of her most valuable lessons from “Dance Moms” was the need to “thrive or struggle.” This wasn’t about swimming physically in a pool, but rather having the determination and willpower to endure and be passionate about it.

Nowadays, she’s not just keeping afloat but making waves, as she socializes with renowned figures like Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian. In the year 2021, this LGBTQ+ trailblazer teamed up with Jenna Johnson to be the first same-sex pair on the American edition of “Dancing With the Stars.”

She has her sights set on an even more prominent platform now, sharing with Raven-Symoné and Miranda Pearman-Maday, “My deepest desire, my heart’s longing, is to perform at the Super Bowl.” After securing this coveted opportunity, which she discussed during an August 2023 episode of “The Best Podcast Ever,” she plans to retire and start a family.

In my humble abode in Arizona, I, the dancer, actress, and entrepreneur, am wholeheartedly welcoming what I refer to as my “health and wellness chapter.” I am thrilled to announce that come 2023, I will be sharing this passion of mine with the world through the launch of my beauty line: Kare.

She shared with TopMob News that she deals with anxiety. Her heartfelt desire was to establish a brand, offering a welcoming space for all, where one could unwind, prioritize self-care, and cultivate effective routines to enhance daily life.

Yes, the newcomer from season 4, who initially gained recognition on “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition,” continues to excel in every arabesque. She has returned to dancing and instruction with a vengeance. Regarding her teaching style, she mentioned, “My approach is distinct from Abby’s and most of my dance instructors. I believe in being compassionate but also challenging dancers to reach their full potential.”

Asia, who grew up in California and stopped appearing in front of TV cameras around her 10th birthday after spending a season on “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition,” “Dance Moms,” and her own show “Raising Asia,” shared with TopMob News in 2021 that she truly enjoyed her time on the sets. She acknowledged that not every cast member had such positive experiences, but for her personally, there was nothing she would have wanted to change about it.

In June 2023, the model and artist concluded her time at high school with the title of valedictorian. She expressed her sense of accomplishment on Instagram, saying, “I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve achieved personally. I’m excited to discover what lies ahead.”

Due to an abundance of business partnerships, numerous invitations to various events, and the recent release of a catchy dance song titled “Oh Boys,” her outlook is optimistic.

Regarding her background as a reality TV star, she shared with TopMob, “I truly relished the experience of growing up on screen and the time spent in that world. Though it might appear extravagant, it significantly shaped my life in ways I will always be grateful for.”

After becoming a team member in season 7, the St. Louis native has been dancing on significantly bigger stages.

After performing with Kendrick Lamar in his tour and appearing in Usher’s Las Vegas residency and Super Bowl halftime show, she graced the Grammy stage together with Missy Elliott in February 2023. Overwhelmed by gratitude, she expressed her feelings with the words “Beyond blessed!!!”

After performing at The Lion King’s 30th anniversary concert at the Hollywood Bowl and sharing the stage with Chloe Bailey at the BET Awards, she intends to continue ascending her personal mountain. As she expressed in a December 2022 Instagram post signaling the end of her 76-show tour with Lamar, “I’m aware that this is just the start.”

After spending three seasons attempting to follow in Maddie’s ballet footsteps on stage left, the native Phoenician made the decision to leave and return to high school in a 2023 YouTube video with her friend Kelsey Millar. She shared, “I just wanted to be normal again and have my friends.” Recalling her time in high school, she admitted, “It wasn’t great, but I’m grateful for the experience. Having lived both lives, I now understand how to find a balance between them.”

A 2021 graduate, identified as both her and Millar, started the Out of Line podcast and shared her Coachella and Stagecoach adventures with her three million Instagram followers. Additionally, she encountered some encounters with enthusiastic fans while accompanying her dance pupils to competitions.

“Brynn, who has a strong bond with Kenzie, described the experience as adorably charming. ‘People recognize me now?’ they exclaimed in surprise.”
