DC All In: Jason Aaron Teases Absolute Superman Ahead of SDCC

As a long-time comic book gamer and avid follower of the DC Universe, I am thrilled to hear about this “daring new vision” of the Man of Steel taking flight from DC Comics. The announcement of Absolute DC and the new lineup of core series, including Absolute Superman by Jason Aaron and Rafa Sandoval, has piqued my interest.

As a passionate gamer and avid comic book reader, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news from DC Comics! Starting this year, DC is giving a fresh new take on the Man of Steel, Superman, with Absolute DC – their most ambitious project since the 2016 DC Rebirth. After the formal announcement of DC All In at the DC FanDome event, we finally get a sneak peek into what lies ahead.

In contrast to the Superman from the main DC Universe, who is married to Lois Lane, has a son named Jon Kent, and is part of the Superman Family with a base in Metropolis (Supercorp), Aaron’s version of Superman in Absolute Superman doesn’t have a Fortress of Solitude, a family, or a home. Prepare yourself for an innovative take on the Last Son of Krypton.

“According to Snyder, stated on Thursdays, the formation of the DC Universe is similar to my long-held concept of returning to DC. DC All In will serve as an excellent entry point for both fresh and returning fans, providing them with new stories to embrace and the opportunity to delve into the upcoming transformations in DC’s primary comic book series.”

Snyder and Williamson’s DC Comics one-shot, titled “DC All In Special” #1, is set to release in October. This issue will mark the beginning of DC’s new “Absolute Universe” line, which includes the following releases:
