Using a fresh cast of characters such as Dannig, Rog, Tujen, and Gwennen introduced in Expedition, players embark on a quest to discover Crimson Iron, Orichalcum, Petrified Amber, and additional materials. Each material presents distinct challenges; for instance, guarding Verisium are formidable enemies. To extract these resources, players can recruit laborers for various tasks including mining, smelting, and farming. In the late game, one can even hire fighters from Isla’s Heist crew to tackle more challenging maps on their behalf.
Once you set up a harbor, you’ll be able to set up trading routes and collect different rewards. Additionally, players have the option to ask Dannig to enchant their weapons using runes. Isla has the ability to combine items, much like Sentinel’s recombination, for impressive outcomes. However, new bosses will pose a threat to Kingsmarch during endgame, leaving it up to you to choose whether to engage in battle or pay a ransom instead.
