Who plays Bekhal Mahmod in Honour?

As a dedicated fan of true crime dramas and stories that shed light on important social issues, I was deeply moved by ITV’s Honour. The harrowing two-part series, now available to stream on Netflix, retells the heartbreaking story of Banaz Mahmod’s “honor killing” in 2006.

ITV’s Honour recounts the shocking real-life event of the “honour killing” of Banaz Mahmod, a 20-year-old British Muslim woman, that took place in 2006.

In a newly released two-part series on Netflix, the focus is on DCI Caroline Goode’s point of view as she relentlessly pursued justice for her own murder, ensuring those suspected were brought to trial.

At the age of 16, Bekhal, Banaz’s sister, chose to leave their family home. However, her involvement didn’t end there. She assumed significance in the proceedings by providing testimony for the prosecution in court later on.

The story of tragedy is brought to life by Honor with an exceptional ensemble, featuring Keeley Hawes as DCI Caroline Goode and Buket Kömür in the role of Banaz Mahmod.

Which actress portrays Banaz’s sister Bekhal, and have you recognized her from previous roles? Here’s the answer you seek.
